I was slightly hesitant after reading negative reviews but thought I'd give it a go for the money. So far, I have no lumps or weird plastic residue that people complain about, it didn't open up in transit or have loads of powder in the box, and the flavour is okay.It's actually pretty bland in flavour and not very chocolatey which for me is okay. I tend to blend it with some cottage cheese and a banana or something, or add it to foods such as yoghurt. If it was really sweet or chocolatey I think it would bother me for this reason. The main thing I've noticed between this and the Applied Nutrition stuff I had before is I need to add a tiny bit of honey to the things I use it in.I'm sure it's pretty brutal shaken up with milk or water as a pre or post workout shake but I can't comment on that. The only thing I'd say in response to that is NO workout shake is genuinely nice, you hold your nose and chug it down. If you want nice chocolate flavour, eat some chocolate! It's amazing value for money so I think it's worth it.

Chocolate peanut flavour..Taken a chance as seen some bad reviews about not mixing well and flavours are yuck in taste,but my own experience is the taste 1 scoop with 250ml water isn't yuck,a weak tasting chocolate with a hint of peanut butter,maybe experiment and different outcome mixed with something else,but isn't horrible taste..Mixing with an electric shaker bottle,don't leave any lumps and mixes well all good so no problem here..The ingredients as been some conflicting reviews i've looked on other sites also,that its different on the tub to the description online,that's a YES and NO answer,the tub ingredients says Milk Protein Concentrate,and the online details says Whey Protein Concentrate,Micellar Casein..(MPC) Milk Protein Concentrate,does contain Casein and Whey typical to that found in Milk,around 80% Casein,20% Whey..(WPC) Whey Protein Concentrate has been filtered to have a Protein of 70/80% with some fat and lactose remaining,its a faster digesting protein that has a slight advantage for a post workout recovery.Soy Protein Isolate is made by removing the fats and Carbohydrates from soy beans,results in a powder weight of at least 90% protein.It is a complete Protein containing all essential amino acids and still provides the building blocks for muscle repair and growth..Whey protein is slightly superior for muscles immediate post workout,but Soy Protein is still an effective option for building and maintaining muscle..So it isn't all alarm bells you've got bad protein powder as some reviews are saying,its more of a misunderstanding of the ingredients from some reviewers..I've got 4kg of the stuff and perfectly fine using the tub up..But yea maybe the Company could write a better detailed accurate description..

Not bad for the price, however I ordered the salted caramel flavour and it tastes NOTHING like salted caramel. In my opinion it tastes like plain old vanilla (which I don’t mind as I’m a huge fan of vanilla). If mixing psyllium husk as I do occasionally, it turns out extremely thick more like angel delight pudding. lol 😝 Would I order again, probably. But not salted caramel 🙈

I've had loads of different protein powder over the years. Never though have i had one as incredibly bad as this.Strawberry flavourOpen it up. Looks ok, smells like strawberry protein.It goes downhill from here.Add water and mix. It smells rough, almost meaty. Rank.Unless you use a blender, forget it. This has a grittiness to it, you can't get past it.Go to drink it. Omg, the smell again and of course no escaping it.Taste. Well if someone genuinely sat in a lab and pronounced that this passed any taste tests related to strawberry then I can only assume they had some strawberry coolie nearby as this tastes hideous. To be expected as matches the smell.So. Lesson learnt. Buy cheap, buy twice as reverted back to a nice considerably more expensive whey protein.I do now have a 4kg tub which could use once I chuck the remaining 3.9kgI appreciate any proteins and flavours are subjective but my oh my this is bad.Obviously no option to return since opened and worryingly the manufacturers website has info on what to do if you don't like the flavour - keep it!

I was highly skeptical about this as it seems too good to be true. However, I am pleasantly surprised, it mixes well and tastes really nice. It's quite a mild flavour, not too overpowering. I usually just mix with milk, so I am unsure how it would taste with water instead. I prefer this protein powder to the other one I have and that was £40 for 28 servings. If the price stays the same I will be a regular customer as this is fantastic value. Don't understand some negative reviews on here, it tastes good and it's around 4 months worth for me so happy days.My only gripe is the fact it came with no label on it. There was no ingredients label or other info, I know you can find it here on the listing but would have been nice to include something instead of a blank big black tub. All in all a happy buyer!

I’ve bought a number of protein powders and this one, although high in protein and low in carbs doesn’t taste as chocolatey as I would have liked. The 4kg tub comes with scoops and adding one scoop to protein yogurt provided me with 40g of protein for breakfast.The protein powder is easy to mix for a shake and dissolves well although the texture is powdery.

Cheap and cheerful protein. Got the chocolate peanut butter flavour. Tastes like peanut butter, not so much chocolate, not sweet at all but personally i prefer that. Cheapest protein i could find by weight so great value for money. Same day delivery for £55, myprotein would be £55 for a 2.5kg bag plus delivery. 10/10 will be buying again when i run out
