Finally a wide brim hat for my oversized head

Bought this hat for my husband for his daily walks around the yard track and when gardening. He’s not looking to win a fashion show with it, but he’s fair skinned with sun sensitivities and a bald head, that makes this the perfect solution for the yard so he won’t ruin one of his good hats. The large brim does a good job shading both his face and neck from the sun and glare. It gets worn daily and considered decent quality than what he had anticipated. It’s a good fit and comfortable to wear. It’s been great for sun protection and the strap has come in handy especially in high winds. The hat has also held up well under a couple of light rains. The original crease from shipping took a bit of work & time to straighten out, but otherwise he has no complaints. It hasn’t been washed yet, so can’t comment on it. It’s easy to pack and store. For the price point and coverage, this was a good purchase. -P.S. He also likes the color!

Love it but just didn't feel right. Returned it.

Obviously arrived folded...being a round hat it was folded in quarters to make the product smaller for shipping.It was wrapped in clear plastic packaging shrink type wrap with the shipping label attached. No secondary packaging.The material was thicker and heavier than expected. Not flimsy at all. So there were some creases. Needed to lay flat for a bit.There is still some memory left (from being folded up) in the material...so when wearing the hat it feels like it droops to one side (dependent on how the hate is worn. I could turn the hat to more to the side. But the neck strap is now in your face and back of the head, and not to the sides of your head as intended.The wide brim kept me cool, the sun off my neck and face and out of my eyes. Overall, this was a great purchase. I like it A LOT! Also really like the color.

First off I love how wide the brim is and how floppy the hat is. Yep it can be a downside especially in high wind but that's the price you pay. This was my second one of these I got and I ended up giving it to my son in law because he is a fair skinned fellow and burns easily.You can fold it up and stick it in your bag no problem. If you need a wide brimmed hat get this. Those silly army/fishing hats have nothing on this one. Recommend.

The hat arrived folded twice making four pie shaped pieces and I cannot remove the folds without washing my new hat. The worst part of this hat is the cap part. It is a single layer of fabric and lies on the top on your head with enough strength to stand up like the majority of hat do.Finally the hat arrived in a clear zip lock bag that was half unzipped upon arrival. That's the worst packaging I have ever witnessed.

But they did give the correct dimensions so that's on me. And it's not a bad thing. Yes, it looks a little silly on me, but I just started work on a farm and this hat is a game changer. It makes all the difference when I'm working in the blazing Florida sun. If you're looking for fashion, look elsewhere. If you want a hat that does its job and does it well, this is it. Flexible enough that I can flip the back down to protect my neck and flip the front up so I have a full range of vision. I can bend it to whatever shape the situation calls for. My only miniscule complaint is that this hat is not available in white. I got the lightest gray I could get. I'm working 8+ hrs in the sun, I want the least amount of heat absorption as I can get. But overall, very pleased with my purchase.

Hat was fouled into fourths and put in a plastic bag. There are creases in the brim of the hat where the hat was folded. Brim is damage and will never lay flat.
