Good extractor fan and very good value for money
Excellent product and knowledgeable help on phone from seller. I queried the different performance figures in product description and was assured that both figures for air moved were correct. One was for recirculate (lower figure) and exhaust out side (higher figure), though this was not made clear in the product info. Some of the structural panels of the fan's body seemed a bit flimsy but once installed it out performed the unit it replaced by a very long way.

Excellent extraction at budget price can recommend
This is a budget product but that does not mean it cant do the job well as it does. I fitted it myself which did not take long to do. I think the description could be better and more detailed on the Amazon web site page as there is a lack of technical detail. The outlet is 120mm so be aware of this as you might have 100mm ducting and need to convert to that size. The installation instructions are not that good especially in the area of measurements to drill holes in your cabinets as the printing is way too small to read.Once installed the unit works as good as any other extractor hood no matter the price. I only marked it down because of the instructions and description the product itself is excellent.

The fitting into an old space as a replacement hood... Perfect fit
Fitted as a recirc' fan and works a dream, good suction, easy controls and easy clean. The fitting of the hood is straight forward enough, no problem.Tried fitting my cupboard door without taking the hoods two door panels off, don't try it, follow the instructions, slide out the two door panels and screw these to your door as described, then offer the whole up to the hood. No problem and a good fitment.

Cookology integrated cooker extract fan
I replaced my old cookology twin fan unit for this new updated version and I'm not impressed at all, it's a single 3 speed fan that just doesn't cut the mustard .wouldn't recommend .

Tricky to install because it is made of thin metal and flexes, but once installed works ok.
Mine came a mite over-sized, so it was a squeeze into the 598mm gap between the cupboards. It became apparent that the thing flexes (i.e. one end can be higher/more forward than the other - when that happens, you will find a number of issues arising, including the filter mount no longer clips in properly, and the door won't slide open and shut smoothly. Since it would be a rare thing for the left and right cupboards to be exactly symmetric in height and lateral position, it is best to assess the machine's symmetry carefully before fixing it to the cupboards, by checking for those issues first. The build is considerably more flimsy than the Zanussi it replaces, but then the Zanussi is now double the price of this £49.99 machine. Once installed it seems to work fine, just make sure you take the time and care to install it.One other thing, I could not find a manual online before buying it. I have since scanned it into pdf and will try to post it somewhere so others might get an idea of what they are buying before commitment. It needs 120mm ducting, and the filter is clip-on. It draws around 80W of power. Noise level is 65dB according to the manual, and not particularly noisy in reality.

Good price, easy to fit and quiet in operation.
Purchased this for my son as a replacement for the hood that had failed. Fitting was easy and took only about 30 minutes (it too longer to remove the old one). Seems much quieter than the old hood and is effective in extracting steam and odours from the cooker. Overall this is a great value product and to be recommended.
