Painful to setup, here are some tips.
This product is great, when it works. Like alot of reviews I had plenty of hastle getting this working (all would be fine if they just included a stronger pump, which when this one inevitably dies I will be upgrading to) In any case here are some tips I found through all my trial and error today. also sorry for grammer, i cba proof reading this as im busy, just thought it may help somone.Tip 1: Don't use a shallow dishgive the pump all the help you can, use a narrow and a tall of a container as you can and place it as low as you can , this allows the water pressure to push down on the pump making it not have to work as hard. I tested a few different jugs in my house with variing success, in the end we nipped to B&M to buy a tall glass jar as we needed to get the pump higher in the viv anyway so we just let it float.Tip 2: keep the pump on the same elevation or higher if possible.back to water pressure, this will stop the pump working extra hard to push the water to the top as it starts going sideways or down to begin with.Tip 3: put together in stages. To help air bleed out I turned the pump on with no tubes on it let it spit the excess air out then connected the first tube, then the valve, so on and so forth, this just helps the air get out quicker as the pumps output (before adapter) is 3x bigger than the top of the plant.tip 4: have it drip back into the pooldont flood your viv like some of the idiots who have reviewed saying it flooded there viv, its just common sense peopletip 5: be patient and do your own testingI hated every second of setting this up, but if you ask me tomorrow after ive de streesed a bit ill probably tell you it was worth the efforthope this helped3/5 because if the pump was better noone would have to go through hell and back to sort this out.

A good addition to my vivarium.
Although a tricky item to set up initially, as it annoyingly created a mini swamp in my vivarium more than a few times, I have now gotten used to it. I've used 2 exo terra dishes, a large shallow one on the bottom for the plant to sit in being held firmly in place by the small deeper dish safely balanced above which houses the pump and water in it. This way any stray drips can feed into the bottom dish and it is easier for me to change the water regularly in the top dish. My chameleon has taken a while to get to used to it, most likely because I was faffing around so much trying to get it set up right! Now though she is spending more time sitting around it which is lovely to see. I have noticed that she doesn't take so long to shed her skin as the Drip Plant is adding much more humidity to the vivarium.

Worth It`s Weight In Gold
The media could not be loaded. I read the reviews for this product and was worried to say the least. Sure enough, the dripper arrived and we just could not get a drip through it. My husband had an idea - he disconnected the tube from the plant base and fed it back into the water container, he also turned the valve horizontally to shut of the water and we left the pump running for an hour. When he connected back to the plant and opened the valve we had water and it was running really well. So, now came the real test - give the dripper to Boris our 13 week old veiled chameleon. His verdict... He totally loves it and we can`t keep him away from it. I`m so pleased to have found him this little gem! No more thirsty Boris here :D

Worth £10 at best.....
Before I bought this i read that although the concept was good and in working order they were also good, the problem lies with the pump. Some people were lucky and the pump did the job, others not so lucky. I bought this anyway and thought I’d upgrade the pump if the thing died. Well it obviously died in transit as it didn’t work from the start. Even holding the plant on a horizontal level the pump barely managed to reach.I think the pumps are basically so poor and cheap that its luck of the draw whether it will work or not. Ive ordered a different pump which will be overkill but adjustable at least. An expensive way around things but hey what the hell!

Great bit of kit but came with a European power plug?
The dripper works extremely well and looks fantastic.Unfortuneately it came with a european power plug for some reason which I why I marked it down.I think the people who have said the pump isn't strong enough have probably not read the instructions. There is a very specific order to putting it together and turning it on which I believe affects the pressure of the pump. Make sure you read the instructions before setting up!

Great product
Arrived before due date (nice surprise) set up was very easy I would not go for the recommended dish as the three little suckers on the pump won’t stick down to th bottom looks nice in the vivarium and has been used not only for drinking but found our little chameleon sleeping on it

Perfect for my chameleon
As you know chameleons won't drink from still water and this is perfect to give a constant drip in his Viv. First I set it up and put the pump in water and it wouldn't drip but just make sure you submurse the pump before you connect the tube to the dripper and it works perfectly.

Great product
Great product although you do need a dish/jar to submerse the pump.A little difficult to get started but with care and time it works perfectly
