Simply great, diffidently worth every penny.
I suppose it's time for me to write a review as when considering buying this I couldn't find too many to look at. Let's start off with the cons, although they are very minor, they are worthy of a mention. The speakers are mediocre, I wouldn't advise watching a movie using them, they're fine for YouTube and other things like that, but for about every other thing out there you'll want a good pair of headphones or a cheap pair of speakers. The Menu buttons are very hard to see, even if you are literally a few cm away from them you won't be able to see what's what, which I don't really care about. And lastly, Sometimes- only sometimes you'll get Display port "no signal", easy to fix. Just plug it out from the mains for a few minutes and you're golden, has happened twice since I bought it. Now on to the good stuff, For games it's simply amazing. The 144Hz is a huge step up for me and everything looks just so nicer on it. The 1ms response time is also fantastic although this means it's a TN panel (if I understand correctly) and honestly, the colours look perfectly fine. You won't notice it unless you're downgrading from a better resolution or IPS monitor. It also has built in 2 USB pass throughs and a great IO. AND it comes with a VGA, DP, HDMI and everything else you could possibly need. It was packed great but sadly arrived 2 days late, (curriers fault) Let's not forget AMD Freesync either, although I have a GTX 970 I'm sure there's many out there who would be willing to buy it for that feature alone. You don't be disappointed and you should really really buy this if you want a new monitor. The price is in comparable to anything else I could find.

The best features for a very persuading price.
I'll keep this review as short as I can. If you want a monitor that has a 144hz refresh rate with freesync at 1080p resolution this and the smaller variant are the only ones out there. The monitor I warn you is heavy and could possibly cause some damage to your desk. For a TN panel the viewing angles are better than most. When looking straight at it the image is very clear and crisp. The connectivity of the monitor is great with a VGA,DVI,HDMI and display port offering a large amount of options. It also includes two usb ports (a cable is provided which needs to be connected from your computer to the monitor to work) and a 3.5mm jack which is quite handy as you can use the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable provided to attach to other speakers, a soundbar or even your playstation/xbox if you have connected them using the VGA or DVI port, as they do not carry sound signals, to the monitors speakers so that you can hear the sound being transmitted.. Freesync was very easy to set up as AMD recognised it and the only input needed was to click on ok. You will need to connect it with either a hdmi or display port cable which are supplied in the box (not gold plated mind you). When gaming I see noticebly less screen tearing even on games that I cannot get 144fps as easily. Many of my friends are astonished by it. Keep in mind that if you plan to use freesync with this monitor you can adjust it to be 60hz if you choose to. I kept mine at 144hz as my gpu is an msi r9 390x and can handle most games I play on high-medium settings to achieve 144fps. The speakers are substantial at best. Now that I have gotten used to it I find it very difficult when playing games using other people monitors while visiting them, it gives me eye strain and sometimes a headache. From now on I will forever be using monitors with freesync or any other technology that is the same. For me 144hz is still too high and can only really see a difference between 60hz to 120hz however very few monitors have a 120hz refresh rate so I was left with the choice of this monitor. All in all the monitor is great and ticks all of the boxes for me and maybe for other people as well and at a reasonable price which makes this monitor my companion of choice for the next few years.

A fix for DisplayPort "No signal" issues.
A word of warning to anyone that buys this monitor. There is a known problem with the display port stating "No Signal" after a few weeks of use. This seems to be a common problem for AOC-Displays and it due to a capacitor that needs to fully discharge. The fix is simply to disconnect the monitor from the mains to rectify this. Otherwise, this is the best monitor I have purchased in recent years. For the price, it has a decent build quality, the smoothness of Games at 144hz is quality and the input lag is minimal. A certain buy, just watch out for the issue I mentioned if using display port!

Great picture, great color, great response time and frame rate. Easy to use and for a TN panel, the colors are really good, viewing angles also are pretty good compared to the usual TN panel problems. Tried to buy a second one but sadly out of stock so im stuck buying a lesser version.
