World of Warcraft The Official Cookbook

Looks beautiful, lovely tempting pictures of the dishes and beautiful artwork theming throughout. Lots of little snippets of lore to tie it in with the game and even a little bit at the beginning regarding 'levelling up' your cooking, which made me smile. There is a good variety of recipes, although mildly disappointed that nobody's found a way for the Dragon's Breath Chilli to let you breathe for like it does in-game! There is also a small section at the beginning describing suitable substitutions for veggie/vegan and gluten-free diets, plus a table at the back detailing suitability and allergen content. Overall a fab book and I look forward to trying lots of the dishes. My only criticism is that the main measurement is cups, it would have been nice to also include ounces and/or grams for greater ease for international audiences.

Great book especially as a novel present for enthusiastic gamers (see what I did there?)

"World of Warcraft: The Official Cookbook" is a delightful surprise for fans of the game and foodies alike. I was impressed by the quality of the hardcover edition. It's a delicious journey into the culinary world of Azeroth ;) Recipes are clear and easy-to-follow. Highly recommend!

World of Warcraft The Official Cookbook Bought this book because I'm a diehard Warcraft fan and enjoy cooking at home. The recipes looked very interesting and the concept really peaked my interest. Now I own it, I can whole heartedly say that this is money well spent and all the recipes look interesting and fun to make, while being delicious to eat. I started my adventure by making 3 dishes from the book, Herb Baked Eggs, Crusty Flatbread and Goblin Shortbread. The Shortbread is amazing, so yummy, and the Flatbread would be great to have alongside curries and pastas as well as just to nibble on. It too is delicious. The eggs! Oh my. Scrumptious. There are only a few downsides with this book. One is the American measurements, and second is the American heat guidelines. Both are easily fixed though by buying the right tools, or using the internet. I recommend this book to everyone! Already planning to buy the followup book!

I bought the hardcover version, the paper and hardcover feel very high quality. All the recipes are actual wow recipes and the instructions are easy to follow. The book actually progresses the further you read in to it with recipes requiring more ingredients and preparation as you level up, it literally feels like a book your character might read to level up his/her cooking! The wow art work places throughout the book is also very nice, with actual pictures of the real finished dish in a Warcraft setting included. The book is well written with plenty of references to the game in every recipe, instructions are broken down in to individual steps. Overall a very pleasant read! I would totally recommend this to anyone who plays or has played wow!

Seems decent enough, but beware that this is very American centric (cup measurements, some ingredients not really sure about). Would have been nice to have been translated for easier consumption in the UK. We went looking for some less known or used spices yesterday (we already had a pretty large collection) and struggled, so may have to look in specialist places for things we are still missing. Aside from that problem, the quality of the book is fantastic and there are plenty of options. Not tried making anything yet, however our Xmas roast Turkey will probably be based on the recipe in there, and use a few other recipes between then and now.

A great book for WoW fans. It is full of recipes that I want t o make, so often when you buy a recipe book like this it has a few recipes you want to make and lots that you dont. This is the opposite! thoroughly recommended. It is obviously american, using cups for alot of the measurements, if you dont have them a quick google confirms the ml sizes. Some of the ingredients are american, but again, a quick google confirms the UK equivalents and we havent had any problem ordering anything for the recipes, even in 2nd lockdown!

Muy buen libro, se apega mucho a la cocina del juego, los ingredientes no son nada extravagantes y está muy detallado como preparar los alimentos, aparte de tener cierta gracia al presentar algunas imágenes y referencias, es como si fuera la cocina de World of Warcraft en nuestro mundo

O livro é sensacional e lindo de mais! É maior do que eu esperava e cheio de ilustrações maravilhosas. Em perfeito estado, as imagens são lindas e as instruções são bem claras!! Do produto não tenho do que reclamar. Agora da entrega hxjsbxjdn ele veio pela Total Express, e o que posso dizer... não dá pra confiar no rastreamento da empresa. O objeto ficou em rota de entrega por dois dias. Foram dois dias que tive que ficar em casa aguardando o livro e nada. Ele chegou no terceiro dia, e no site dizia que o objeto ainda não tinha saído para entrega naquele dia. De qualquer forma, a compra valeu a pena pelo produto em si que é maravilhoso!

I love World of Warcraft, so when I discovered a cookbook I just had to get it. Some great recipes, and the adaptations from Azeroth to Earth are incredibly delightful.
