This is a fun set, the felt pieces are softer than some other felt character kits I've made. The instructions are tiny basic pictures smaller than a postage stamp, the Also seem to include a poison bottle that isn't part of the kit, oddly.I've made 3 of the characters so far, personally I've added a few embellishments that aren't included in the kit, such as the sequins on the turtle dove, as the swan beyond having a longer neck is quite similar. And I'll probably chose to add a few more on a couple of the other characters.I've also chosen to use the ribbon differently, they suggest you cut 12 tiny 1-2" pieces and use the rest to string the characters on as bunting, but I've given them 1/12th of the ribbon and I'll use something else to string them up, as it gives me more options on whether to hang them on the tree or something.Cute and includes all the essentials for under a pound per character, which isn't bad. But add a few of your own embellishments to create unique, luxury characters.

All instructions are pictures - some could be easier to follow and some a bit fiddly but nice product overall

Although the materials provided are good, the instructions are useless. I had to use a magnifying glass on the wordless, fuzzy pictures and even then had to call more or less on my own experience and judgement - I still went wrong a few times. The packaging resulted in the loss of the tiny eyes and I spent a lot of time on my hands and knees trying to retrieve the minute beads from our rug. There are no instructions as to how to anchor the figures on the ribbon provided. There is more than one version of this garland and this confused the research I was forced to do in the absence of instructions.

Very small images on the instruction sheets, and as there are no words, those images are the only way to work out how to make the product.
