Warning! These are not really 1KG of filament! (see update at end)
SEE BELOW FOR UPDATE.I saw these for what seemed like a smokin' deal the other day. Under ten bucks for a 1KG spool! Plus a "buy some get one free" deal on top of that. I bought just about every color they had knowing that deals like this usually don't stick around very long.Well, shame on me for getting somewhat duped. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that it felt light compared to other spools I have used. It looked smaller than your typical spool as well. So I got out my trusty scale and put it on, still in the sealed package (minus the box). My scale only goes to about 1KG, and these were teetering right about 1KG including the spool and package! That's right, they are counting the weight of the spool and the weight of the vacuum sealed bag in the "1 kg" claim. Spools typically weight anywhere from 90g to 390g depending on the manufacturer and these spools seem relatively heavy duty, so I'm figuring they are probably near the 300g end of the scale. That means that what seems like a great deal at under ten dollars per kg is really more like eleven to sixteen dollars per kg of usable filament. This is a pretty deceptive practice in my book, and I really think the item description needs to be changed to reflect the actual value you are getting. If I had paid what a typical 1 kg spool costs I would have been really angry. Shame on iNSTONE.How about consistency? I didn't see any claims in the description about size consistency, and it's not the most consistent I have seen in terms of diameter. The size varied from about 1.68 to about 1.78, mostly around 1.70. I'd give it a "C" in this respect.Ok, so aside from the shady description and somewhat wobbly size, how does it print? Not bad fortunately. The gratuitous "3d benchy" printed pretty good on my Ender 3. There was a slight bit of stringing in a few spots, but no worse than some others I have used. The overhangs look as good as others I have used as well.I only printed the white so far, and one thing I noticed is that it seems to be a little more translucent than other whites I have used. You can see the interal lines of infill if you hold it up to the light. Depending on your application, this may or may not be a good thing. I plan to use it mostly for lithophanes, so I think it might actually be an asset for that application. If you wanted it to look more solid, you'd need to make thicker walls to compensate. So would I buy it again? Unless theres another big discount offered, probably not. In fact, I am debating on whether or not I want to return some of it.I bought ShaperBee filament a while back for around eleven dollars a kg and I think its actually a much nicer filament. More consistent size and almost non existent stringing. But the price of ShaperBee has gone up considerably since then and depending on the color, it can be as much as twice the price now. Best case scenario on this iNSTONE with the lightest known spool would be around eleven per kg. Worst case around sixteen per kg. I think it's most likely to come in around fourteen per kg and there are several other filaments in that price range. I'd feel better if I knew how much the spool actually weighs.I did get a lot of different colors for not a lot of investment though, and it will probably be a long time before I would ever use them all, so I might keep them around just for variety. So, buyer beware. If you want to try a lot of colors without a lot of initial investment, probably ok. If you are looking for the most filament for the buck, not the best deal.I'll try to update this review when I find out the spool weight and if anything changes after I have a chance to go through a whole spool.UPDATE 9/16/18: I had decided I was going to send back most of iNSTONE filament I bought primarily due to the weight shortage. However, as I was looking through the other colors to decide which to return, I noticed that the spools looked fuller and felt heavier than the white and black ones I had started with. I went back and weighed every roll I had, and the results were interesting. Turns out it's only the black and white that are coming up light. The rest of the colors weighed around 1220-1280g in the package, which should get much closer to the claimed 1KG of filament. Since I don't know the spool weight yet, I can't say exactly how much, but it is a lot closer than the "barely 1000g including spool and packaging" I was getting on the white and black rolls. In view of that, I will be keeping all the colored spools since having the full weight puts them at about the cheapest filament on Amazon at the time I ordered. I will probably still send back the white and black though since they were light and aren't the greatest quality out there. It has been printing decent, however it is quite brittle and easy to break while loading and unloading. So far it has only broken once during a print and that was at the very end so it didn't cause issues, however I don't trust it very much for a long running print.Once I start printing with the colors, if the quality is as good or better than the white, I'll consider bumping up a star since it's a pretty good value when the spools are full.UPDATE 9/24/18: I finally finished off a whole spool. The spool weighs in at 212.2g, and the plastic bag and silica gel come in a little shy of 30. So that puts the net weight at about 760g filament. But like I said in the previous update, the colored spools all came in a lot closer to 1kg net.For the most part, it printed fairly decent all the way through. The only significant problem was the brittleness. What I found was that the closer to the center of the spool I got, the more brittle it became. But it still only broke the one time during a print, and even that was questionable as to the circumstance. When it would break though was any time I left it loaded for more than a few hours. The filament wants to curl, and when it is stretched out straight on the path to the extruder, I think it just eventually fatigues and breaks if it sits too long. As long as it's constantly moving, it doesn't seem to be a problem.I've tried the pink now too. So far it seems to be working fine. I haven't noticed the brittleness like the white, but I am also at the start of the spool, and the white wasn't bad in the beginning either. In the end, it's a usable budget filament. Not the best, just usable. It was a great price for the full sized spools, and a marginal price for the ones they shorted me on. I plan to send back all the white and black, but am keeping the colors. I bumped a star because it did get me to the end of the spool and the colors are a good price.

1kg total including spool
This white print good but your going to be getting 200-400 grams less than you expected. making the price not worth it. I gave the white a 1 star but this wood color is awesome! it looks feels and smells like wood. also unlike the white the spool is 1.4kg so there should be a real 1kg of useable plastic.
