Bahco 4-183-06-2-0 Taper Saw File 6in I needed a saw file to rejuvenate a bow type garden saw, such as one uses to prune trees and shrubs up to about 100mm dia. Chain saws are of course ideal for this but I don't have enough work to justify a purchase, also I am quite frankly scared to use one! I already had two beat-up tapered triangular section saw files and also a saw setting tool (which is essential to complete the sharpening process). I had used these with some success many times for my antique carpentry tools (yes, antique because many of them certainly date back to before 1911!)First of all I looked up the subject 'how to sharpen saws' on the net, and learnt a great deal - this is a process that requires much care. The results? Wonderful, all of my handsaws, carpentry and gardening, and I have quite a collection, will soon be as new. Then I shall probably need another saw file (they obviously wear out eventually) and I will certainly again buy Bahco via Amazon!P.S. Blunt saws can damage your health, well fingers anyway. Make sure they are really sharp.david
