Jill McDonald Kids First Year Enchanted Keepsake Calendar, Little Dreamers (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I was gifted first year calendars for my first two children and loved the idea; it was so easy to fill in milestones or even just little thoughts for the day. With #3, I probably won't get around to doing a baby book, but I did want another first year calendar. I read a bunch of reviews and finally decided on this one.I love it! It was a bit pricier than some others out there but it's a nice, big size so there's enough room to place stickers AND write comments in the date boxes. I love how the first month - whatever month your baby is born - has a spot for a picture and all the important details. Every other month has similar spots, and while I love the idea, the sizes are somewhat random so you may have to cut down your pictures or put something else in the box (my daughter's name is Adeline, so I'm considering typing up the words to "Sweet Adeline," an old babershop song from the early 1900s). Either way, it's open to customization, which can be fun. At the back, there's even a spot for "A Letter from Mommy and Daddy."Another plus - the pages are really sturdy, like thick cardstock. And the month/milestone stickers are really cute. Someone mentioned that they thought this was a unisex calendar, but I think with the pink on the front, flowers and what not, it's obviously for a girl - which is another reason why I chose it!While it's a neat option, I probably won't be tearing the pages out and putting them in a scrapbook - I'm going to save the calendar as-is! In fact, that calendar comes in its own big pocket, so when it's completed I'll put it back in there and store it in my baby's keepsake bin.

I really like that the days on this calendar are large enough to hold one of the included milestone stickers and still have space to write in details. There's plenty of room for personal notes, which I did not find to be the case on the all the calendars I looked at. My one complaint is that I wish there had been a few more stickers. There are a couple of milestones that I would have liked to see included. That's not a big deal, though; I just write those in one my own. Overall, a very good product.

This is a nice product to help keep track of those important events in the baby's first year. It is the size of a typical calendar not a book. You'll be able to put a picture each month and some notes. I gave it as a gift and they really enjoyed it.

i bought two of these for my twin girls and i am thrilled with the beauty and quality of this purchase. i have purchased 4 other calendars over the years for my other children and this one is my absolute favorite by a long shot. the paper is heavy, size is substantial and the colors and graphics are perfect for a little girl. this is the one to get. you wont be disappointed.

This calendar is beautiful.It comes with lots of stickers and places for photos on each month. The best part is the pages are full scrapebook size and are perforated for easy removal when the year has passed which will make a scrapebook easily, even for the craft challenged. The graphics are very nice and the size makes it a piece of art and part of the room's decor. Well worth the money

I bought this calendar as a gift. Gave it to the mother-to-be, and she was thrilled! Love how the calendar pages are 12"x12", so they can fit in a scrapbook - saves the new parents some time/stress if they want to make a scrapbook of baby's first year. The colors and design were so pretty - this is an excellent gift.

not a bad thing as there was more space to write but if you are looking for a certain size beware. got this for a gift for a friend. she loves it.

I LOVE this first year calendar. I got it to record my baby daughters milestones. It is way easier to keep up with this stuff on a calendar we hang in the nursery. This is just a super sweet themed calendar. It looks pretty with her rooms colors too.
