I’m using this Rockville k5 15 2 ohm as a replacement sub for home use .It sounds amazing for what I’m using it for and get more power from the amp because it’s 2 ohm.

Bought this to install in a ~2 cu. ft. cabinet I built from 3/4" MDF (double sheet on front baffle) with a 300W plate amp. I can only run the volume at 1/4 or less or it gets too loud (even for me). Despite being one of the cheapest option for 15" subs on Amazon, it is very well made and highly regarded. I already bought an 18" Rockville DJ/PA sub for the family workshop. I will be using this one to reinforce the lowest octave from a pair of Klipsch R-820F speakers with dual 8" woofers. I set the plate amp at the lowest cut-off frequency (40Hz) and it nicely augments the deep bass on quality recordings. The remastered 40th Anniversary CD of Dark Side by Pink Floyd is truly impressive with this system, with no distortion or chuffing from the sub. You really can't go wrong with one of their big subs, so why pay more?
