Relaxdays 10017409 Folding Parking Barrier, With 3 Keys, 76 x 32 x 45 cm, with Red Warning Stripes, Silver

This a robust bit of kit. It was sent from Berlin taking about three days to arrive!! I am a big car user, I moved my car to fit it and then a week later I used the car and locked the barrier when I left. Well it certainly did the job because when I got back nobody else had parked in my spot due to a barrier being there. To be serious I fitted it a good meter back from the front of the spot, this lessens the chances of it being hit by turning vehicles or run over by your self on entry or exit. It also keeps it protected from the weather under the car when folded down. The fixings plates are strong and with the three points it is very firmly fitted, the other advantage is that you do not have to struggle with a padlock at ground level.

Very sturdy and weighty. As stated by others, fixings are pretty useless, but can be picked up for dirt cheap from a decent merchants.

Excellent, I have had a long running problem with cars parking in my private parking bay at my fla. This is a lower level in height than a standard parking bollard, however it does cover a wider area. It's self assembly and solid in construction, however the fixing bolts at the Base take a little bit of work to tighten I found using a slightly larger gauge of nut to fix into place worked well. So far so good it's been effective in stopping unwanted selfish drivers parking their cars between my space and the one next to mine

barrier is good quality but your rawl bolts are way too long for the plugs you supplied (buy the way I am an engineer)

Fantastic value for money. Don't use the fixings that came with it though.They shear as soon as you apply any force. Buy some Sleeve Anchor 10 x 75mm M8 Max Fixture 39 Pack of 10Product Code: 16027 from screwfix for less than £3. Better still use M8 rawlbolts but you'll pay nearly a tenner for them. Make sure the bolts don't prevent the barrier from folding flat. The barrier collapses flat - about 40mm proud from the floor. I've driven over it without causing any damage as long as the barrier has been fixed on a flat surface. You won't believe what this barrier has done to avoid conflict with the neighbour and his repeated parking in front of my garage. As long as its fixed on your property they can't do a thing about it. I wished i'd bought this months ago.

Heavier material and much better quality than other suppliers. Get bigger bolts (10 mm) for piece of mind.

Does the job - comes with all fixings required. A little hard drilling holes through solid concrete to get it installed, and lots of spanner work to get the bolts in - but solid bit of kit that has entirely resolved my issues finding random people parked in my driveway when I return from work.
