Good if you're short of CD space.
These are OK but be warned, they are the hard plastic jewel case and can break easily if you're even slightly 'heavy handed' with them. On the plus side, they are great if you're running out of space to store your CDs as two of these take as much space as one 'normal' CD case.Obviously, there is nowhere to label them - unless your printer can do minute characters but even then, there's isn't much space. However, 50 CD jewel cases for this price can't be ignored out of hand. For what they are, they are good at what they do, and you can't really ask for more.I've used them with my Lightscribe discs and they look good with those. Plus with Lightscribe, these jewel cases make it a lot easier to flip through them to find the CD I want. I would buy these again when I need some more and would recommend them to anyone. I've given them 4 stars as a few of them were broken by the time I got to them

Good value slimline transparent jewel cases, but with some wastage
I required a pack of good value transparent slimline jewel cases for my numerous recorded DVD and Bluray discs. These cases fit the bill but are not quite as well engineered as others I have bought. Some cases don't grip the disc , some are a little warped, and the hinges on some cases are brittle and break even before use (maybe 1 in 15 cases is a bit of a dud). However, they are good value for money if you accept there is some wastage.

Would not buy again
The thin case opens up to give space for the disc on the right-hand side where it is lightly held in place, and on the left hand side there is room for a card or paper to be held in place with a title or description of the disc.If one is using these to keep discs clean/ scratch free, and then stored away for a long time, then these are possibly a good buy. But if they are to be frequently opened and closed and perhaps used in transit, then they might not be such a good buy. In their favour they are lightweight which might help if having to move many stored discs from one location to another in say storage boxes, but what is a not in their favour is that they are very week and flimsy which would not help if wanting to constantly open and close or to send in the post.I have had similar discs to these before now that were pretty much the same style but made of an opaque soft-ish plastic (as opposed to these, which are a clear and somewhat brittle plastic.I wouldn’t buy these again (and I’m stuck with fifty of them if I use them all) and would try to make sure I purchased the “soft opaque plastic” kind instead in future. To sum up: Very flimsy and not great for constant use or for sending in the post and impractical in a small backpack for example.

good quality, good value
the variation of reviews left me perplexed, but i decided to have go at these.unlike some i have ordered before, these all arrived in perfect condition........no scratches, no cracks or broken cases.after inspecting a few, i came to the conclusion that these are the best quality slimline jewel cases i've ever had!

Thin cases
Replacement cases for photo cd's. Ideal as thin and take less space.

Good and cheap
Does exactly what it says. I've now bought 4 packs of these and only two have broken out of 200, quite a good average!

Value For Money, But Best To Order More Than You Need
Have used around half of them so far and already had to throw away a third of those due to broken hinges. Came covered in copious amounts of bubble-wrap, so can only assume damaged prior to packing. However, if you can accomodate the wasteage, it's still a lot of cases for the money.

Good Quality Considering Reasonable Price
Each of the 3 I've used accommodated 1 DVD and a thin paper inlay well. They don't close as securely as one would like but seem sturdy enough. (As value was a factor in this review and prices vary, it's worth saying that I bought this for £11 in Aug '12)
