Not used a lot at the moment, first time using so a little hesitant, once set up was a doddle to use, good quality as expected from trend, not cheap but hopefully save time in the future, although I don’t fit as many locks these days,

So easy to set up, nice and simple to use great tool

Absolutely fantastic bit of kit proving to be invaluable when fitting locks in 13 doors, probably won’t need it again now though so will probably sell it but for a joiner this jig is excellent

Once reading the instructions it’s best to practice on a scrap of timber that same width as a door. It’s a bit confusing at first to adjust the jig to the right place but practicing is the best option. After a few goes it’s quite simple to use. I fitted a latch in about 5 minutes after the door was set on its edge. Don’t try to use this when the door is on the door frame/lining. Great piece of kit. Especially if you fit several doors at a time. It’s money earning and time saving. I’ve read the other reviews and haven’t notice the templates not working with the locks but it’s possible Trend has updated the sizes as I both this at Christmas.

God kit

Being fully adjustable it is helpful to read the instructions and take your time to setup but once understood and done. It is very simple. Combined with the trend T10 router and the C172X1/2TC cutter makes the perfect setup.

I had a lot of repeat doors to hang so I thought this would be the boy for the job. Setting it up precisely took longer than desired. Difficult to be accurate with the alignment plate. Then realised the plates supplied didn't suit the locks I was given.I ordered new plates to suit for the rest of the houses.Where plates arrived I tried it out again. This time o found that the Bush supplied giggled out and that it took longer than I thought it wood as the 12mm cutter didn't like the oak. Finished the doors by hand.
