Really impressive and fantastic value for money
A while back, whilst raking through a cupboard, I came upon a shoe box full of coloured pencils. They had been there for about 25 years as they were bought for my son to use when he was about 5 or 6 years of age. He is now in his early 30s. Anyway, I sorted them out and noticed I had an almost complete set of Conté pencils. I remember buying them in a French supermarket and that they were pretty cheap. So, I thought I would see what they were like in comparison to some of my other pencils; some cheap and some not so. I was amazed at how good they were. They blended beautifully and were a joy to use so when I saw these on offer I jumped at the chance.Like the older ones these too are superb. They lay down their colour evenly and smoothly and blend just as well as the originals. Smoothing out harsh lines is also achieved with ease. They look nice; they feel great and they sharpen to a fine point without breaking. In short, I am absolutely delighted by them. Just as a point of interest I tend to work on "Bristol" type paper/card and I have found that the colour applies itself really well which is more than can be said for some other more expensive pencils I have used on that medium. I am more than happy to recommend them.

Lovely pencils, my 6 year old loves them because they're "grown up pencils" colours are lovely and vibrant.P.s a word to the wise, don't also buy your child a electric pencil sharpener at the same time....but the pencils do sharpen lovely, I can guarantee.

I haven't had a chance to use these yet. Having checked the colours they are vibrant and colour well. They will be useful for adding highlights.
