How long is the cord?

Unless you plan on eating on the floor this was a waste. Family had to stare at the wall while eating fondue the cord is literally 20 inches long I couldn’t believe I spent over 70$ and can’t even use a extension cord . :(

Is the pot/stand pretty sturdy? I have young kids and am worried about a pot that tips over easily. Thank you in advance!

It is! We use it with 8 and 10 year olds. And never any issues. I highly recommend

This says it is dishwasher safe. Does the pot pop off the base (which has the plug attached for the powercord) or the base go in the dishwasher too?

The plug attachment comes off. The base is part of the pot and it all definitely goes in the dishwasher. Best fondue pot ever because of that.

What kind of nonstick interior does it have? do not want teflon

Teflon is a whole group of products. What was banned was the use of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which used to be one of the main chemicals found in the version of Teflon used for cookware. It was banned not banned that many years ago - Europe in 2008 and USA in 2014 (the same year as a couple of the answers to this question). So the current version of this product should not contain a version of Teflon that contains PFOA, but might contain a different coating formula that's still under the brand name Teflon. I checked the current product manual for CFO-3SS on the Cuisinart website, and it just says nonstick without identifying the coating. Also it says copyright 2013, so that's not great.
