The Dehydrator Bible: Includes Over 400 Recipes

when i bought my dehydrator it came with minimal instructions so this book has been fabulous - use it to get the best from your appliance. Lots of good recipes and sound advice. Couldnot do without this book. Very useful for using all your excess fruit and veg from the garden and when stuff is cheap to buy.

Good product

Having just purchased a dehydrator I felt I wanted a recipe book to go along with it. As long as you are comfortable with the American terminology (eggplant for aubergine, zucchini for courgettes etc.) this is a great "How-to" book. It is clearly laid out and easy to follow, for the beginner dehydrator (me) and gives loads of recipes for using the dehydrated foods. It also gives loads of tips e.g."Chose apple varieties that have a good flavour once heated .... varieties that are more suited to fresh eating ... don't have much flavour once dried."or "Choose a melon that feels heavy for its size to avoid buying one that is dry and pulpy." I've used this book quite a lot in the brief period I've had it.

Lots of practical information, ideal if you are just starting donw the road to dehydrating. Many books tell you how to do it, but few give much information of how to use dehyrdated goods. Recommended.

This book came highly recommended as the book to have. It takes one into many of the areas, and in much more detail, than the book that came with the unit. Having browsed through the book against the manual I can see where the workings of food dehydration can be refined and with greater detail.

Full of required info on how to successfully dehydrate and recipies I would never have thought of. Also I found it beneficial and interesting to read from page one, not just dive straight in. Definitely a must have book if your thinking of purchasing a dehydrator

Not what i was expecting.

I am going to find this book most helpful, while I learn all about my new food hydrator. At present I am only using it for my dog :) I am making all his treats, since the scare on Chinese imports. The book has a lot of choice in recipes, I look forward to having a go :)
