Really good, but the price
These are delicious. I would love to have them on hand at all times, but the pricing is pretty prohibitive at $12 a bag and $2 per cookie.

"This is some GOOD [BLEEP]!" (quote from my family)
I was happy to have the opportunity to review the Gwell Peach & Pomegranate Tea Cookies as an Amazon Vine item. A family member in the house ended up having to finish this review for me. More about that in a minute.First, the cookies taste good. They're similar to a wedding cookie, but larger and very sweet and slightly fruity. There's a LOT of powdered sugar on these, so be ready for a lot of sweetness! However, I must be unknowingly allergic to one of the ingredients. The texture, for me, was very thick and dry, and my throat suddenly felt tight and I had trouble swallowing. I got some water and tried another bite a few hours later, thinking that I just hadn't had enough water today or something. It was the same experience. Since I'm reviewing the cookies for Amazon Vine, I wanted to give them a fair chance. I left the room to offer the cookies to a family member. I told her they taste good but are too thick and dry for me and made me feel like I was choking. I asked if she'd like to give a second opinion, and I suggested she get some water before trying them. She didn't wait for any water. She just bit into a cookie and exclaimed, "This is some GOOD [BLEEP]!!!" XD She had no trouble at all with the cookies. The texture was perfect, the taste was perfect, everything was perfect. I told her that the price breakdown makes them about $2 a cookie. She said, "worth it." Her review is that they are absolutely perfect. Her only disappointment was that there weren't more cookies in the bag! Sounds like I'm missing out on a real treat! So there you have it. Beyond 5 stars from my family member!Since my family member and I had such different experiences with the cookies, I suspect I might have a previously unknown allergy. None of my allergies are in the ingredients, so it must be a new one for me. The ingredients are all ingredients I've had before, but some of them I haven't had in years. I don't normally eat non-wheat flours, but I did have some non-wheat flours years ago when I baked homemade cookies a few times for a friend who couldn't have wheat, and I had no trouble eating those. I don't blame the cookies at all; it's probably just a newly-developed allergy, probably not anything wrong with the cookies (since my family says they are "good [bleep]"), but I'm including my experience in the review just in case other people have a similar experience, and because as a Vine member I'm supposed to write my own honest review, but I had to use a family member instead.

enjoyable despite no peach nor pomegranate flavor
The whole family has found these powdered sugar shortbread cookies w/nutty flavor enjoyable, although there was no actual peach nor pomegranate taste.

Floral flavor
These were pretty delish, although the flavor is more floral than I would typically like. The cookies are super crumbly and I’m my opinion would pair very well with hot tea. Ultimately, I don’t reach for these enough to say they are amazing.. but if this is your style treat, these ones are good for you.

Pleasant cookie, impressive company mission
These gwell peach & pomegranate tea cookies are really unique. I haven’t had a vegan & gluten free shortbread cookie ever so it’s a treat. As you can see in the photos the cookies are the actual size as the photo on the bag. The actual cookie doesn’t look like the one on the bag though, I took a bite so you can see in the pic that it’s a uniform color throughout, unlike the bag photo of a tan cookie covered in white powdered sugar. Each bag contains about 6 cookies.I don’t taste peach or pomegranate but I know it’s in there for the benefits. The most predominant flavors of these delicately flavored cookies are powdered sugar, almond and coconut. I’m puzzled because there aren’t almonds in the ingredients but I taste almond flavor, maybe it’s the cashew. The cookies have a dense shortbread texture that crumble melts in my mouth. I’ve been enjoying one with my morning coffee. My favorite part about these tea cookies is the message from the founder on the back of the bag. I hope more companies adopt their mission, commitment to nutrition access, and use of minimally processed ingredients.

Where's the peach and pomegranate?
I ordered the peach and pomegranate tea cookies, so I was expecting them to actually taste like peach and pomegranate. Strangely, they don't. They taste like coconut. Don't get me wrong, they're still great with a cup of hot tea (or coffee) but I'd like to actually taste the flavors that are listed on the package. These particular tea cookies are quite dense and the texture was a bit off. I'm used to them having a sort of shortbread texture and these aren't like that. They're also a little crumbly. As with any tea cookie, they're meant to be enjoyed with a hot beverage. They're a bit dry and perfect for dunking or chasing with a sip of tea (or coffee).I'd give them 4 out of 5 stars. They're enjoyable but lacking that peach and pomegranate flavor.

Powdery, nutty, fruity “cookies” -only 6 per bag
These cookies taste okay, but at $2 apiece I think my sweet tooth will go elsewhere in the future. They’re dry and crumbly, covered with powdered sugar, and vaguely nutty (cashew) and fruity in flavor. They’re quite sweet - I was expecting more of a shortbread texture but these don’t hold together and they’re quite messy to eat. I guess the closest parallel would be to Italian wedding cookies, but these seem to be missing something. I’m underwhelmed. Nothing awful, but nothing special. I don’t think the experience, flavor, texture, or “healthier” ingredients justifies the high cost of these cookies, since they’re mostly made of rice flour. I suppose if you’re desperate for a gluten free sweet but you can also eat nuts and coconut, this might be the cookie for you.

Pretty good, with healthy simple ingredients
Tastes really good, each cookie is pretty big. Wish there were more in each package, but I would still recommend or buy again.
