Catalyst Waterproof Case for AirPods Pro 2nd Generation and AirPods Pro 1st Generation - Wireless and USB-C Charging Compatible, One Piece Design, High Drop Protection Case with Carabiner

I previously had a case on my AirPods Pro 2 with a magnetic lid. It was supposed to prevent the AirPods from popping out of their charging case when dropped. It didn’t work. I’m not a fan of cases with front flaps or buttons so I decided to try this one from Catalyst.This case is highly protective and makes it impossible for the AirPods lid to open when dropped. It takes an extra second to open the lid, but it’s fine. Wireless charging still works though MagSafe and using an Apple Watch puck do not (a flat laying MagSafe charger will work). The case is a little too thick for the MagSafe magnets to work.You still have easy access to the USB C (or Lightning in older AirPods Pro units) charging port. Catalyst claims that this case adds water resistance protection. It’s not something I’ve tested but I could see it. The USB C case for AirPods Pro 2 is already water resistant.You do lose access to the lanyard holes but the case comes with a sturdy loop and solid carabiner. The speaker is still easy to hear for charging and location sounds and the charging light ones through. There’s also access to the reset/pairing button on the back.I highly recommend this case to anyone wanting a slim yet protective case that will ensure their AirPods don’t fly out of their case when dropped. It’s a smooth rubber that doesn’t stick to the inside of my pocket and the glow in the dark case will illuminate for quite a bit of time after being exposed to artificial light (it really glows when set out in the sun for a few seconds).

This case protects well from drops and dings, and is easy to use and keep on your person via the carabiner. It looks great after a few trips and around town daily, and charging thru the case works with no issues (I'm using an Apple MagSafe and Qi chargers). *The claim that it is waterproof is not accurate* Once you have opened and closed the silicone flaps which (partially) cover the AirPod case lid a few times (10?), the gap between the Catalyst and the case stretches to several millimeters. This gap is permanent. Water can easily get in and around the AirPod case, and presumably into it. So I wouldn't suggest using it in very wet conditions. I also think the price is high for what you're getting, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I once lost a pair of AirPods, because I had a cheaper case. Drop your AirPods and they will never fall out of this case. It also attaches securely with the lanyard to whatever you choose.

Love Catalyst AirPods cases. I like the silicone ones specifically due to their feel of protection. One purchased one for my regular 2nd gen AirPods with and loved such that when I decided to get the AirPods Pro, I wanted the same Catalyst silicone case as it is protective, simple and easy to carry…just clip-on and go.

This case is perfect and actually glows after “charging” in light first. I like how sturdy it is and that my AirPods won’t fly out when I drop it.

10/10 Case. i’ve always used catalyst cases for my airpods since the original. idk much about the water resistant aspect but i like that they do a great job at protecting my airpods from drops & the elements.

I love this case. It keeps AirPods very secure when not in use. I love the fold down feature to open the case. It ensures nothing falls out.

Protects well. You have to roll up the sides so they are definitely not going to accidentally fall out

I've got this brand and style for my previous Airbuds and it was worth getting for the protection. I got them again because I was satisfied with my previous purchase and with the promised wireless charging. Well, it will charge with the case on, just not very well. I am back to taking the case off. They didn't lie but they don't say how finicky and poor it charges with the case on. It is practically useless and frustrating to use you'll just revert back to what you where doing before.So yeah you can wirelessly charge with the case on but it is so useless you'll never use it so don't buy this for that reason... it is purely a marketing ploy and not anything useful.

Im very happy with this case and it works very well all I’d say to change maybe is make the carabiner attachment on the side of the case instead of on the corner, and maybe to make the flaps on the top a little bit bigger to cover more of the case on too but other than that I highly recommend this case it’s does exactly as advertised and extremely worth it, i bought a spigen one first by accident thinking it was good cause I’ve had their phone cases and they were good but not the airpod case, it never fully closed and scratched the hell out of airpod case instead of protecting them. If you actually care about your AirPods this case will do that and more it’s a very good case, highly recommend! Thank you
