Silverline 783131 Double Sided Dot Gloves

These started out as a good fit and comfortable but after the first wash they lost their shape. Disappointing

These gloves are cheap & better made than expected. I bought them for my son to use for lightweight gardening jobs that don't require thorn protection. He likes them & while we didn't expect them to survive too many washes, they're still holding together after a month. I may have to re-stitch them together at some point. They are cheap enough to throw away & buy more but I prefer to repair & reuse if possible.

For 60p they are great value & you will not get better for the price anywhere else.Light use around the home or garden & they are great. Using them on anything with potential sharp edges & they will not last. Hence why I bought a few pairs & use them as throwaway's. They are flexible enough to be used for spray painting furniture/ornaments etc while usable enough to pick up branches (not tried on thorns but seriously doubt they would protect you). If you are building a garden bench etc then they will also offer your hands a bit of protection at the hands of gripping a screwdriver, hammer, chisel for extended period of time.Will definitely be buying more fairly soon.

Good for an emergency use or for very occasional, but they shape of the hand is not great. That could be the shape of my hand of course, but as a generic shape it feels out of proportion.At the price point I purchased at though, it's not something that you could really grumble at.

Bought these at £0.64 pair so wasn't expecting too much quality or durability but so far so good - will update durability grading in due course.Seen identical produce, also via Amazon, nearer to £5 which I wouldn't pay for them.

Holes on several finger tips after few light duty garden use, not impressed with the durability at all.Would not recommend. A waste of money!

At such a low price these are something of a steal. Not waterproof, no protection against thorns, barely any thermal insulation, and not particularly hardwearing..but at less than a pound a pair still worth 4 stars as gardening gloves or to wear under heavier duty work gloves.
