Cant rate this product anything but the bare minimum of one star because when it turned up, all the feathers were detached from the handle! Just a wooden pole and loose feathers. It looked as if a fox had ravaged the osterich in transit! Have had to throw the lump of feathers and wooden pole in the bin. If they pick up on this review I would like a replacement item and then if it arrives in a satisfactory condition I will put it down to a one off and amend my review accordingly. Will be requesting a chargeback from my bank otherwise.EDITED: After leaving a poor review due to the condition the goods arrived in, I have received a replacement ostrich feather duster and it is in full working order and works perfectly. As a product it performs extremely well, the handle is a reasonable length and is sturdy. The feathers are durable and are excellent at extracting and holding dust, and the dust doesn’t travel around out of it like micro-fibre dusters. The feathers plume out nicely and the duster effortlessly dusts around objects without moving them. A simple shake of the duster outside a few times removes the dust collected. There is a convenient leather strap to hang the duster up but it also fits into an under sink cupboard for storage.Overall a good product, it is a shame the beginning of my experience with this company started off so badly but they have made up for the initial errors quickly and have been very apologetic. Thank you very much for sorting this out and here is to many happy years being dust free.

Looking at the reviews you'd think this was a good duster. All I'll say is filter by date order and all the recent reviews are 1 star. I used it for the first time and half the feathers fell out. Looks like a faulty batch. Would not recommend, steer clear. Returned for a refund.I've changed this from a 1* to a 5* review. After posting the vendor contacted me and offered a full refund or a replacement. I chose a replacement, I'm pleased I did the new one arrived the next day and hasn't fallen apart. The reason for changing the review is two fold one that the item is good quality for more importantly the service received was excellent and couldn't fault it. I only wish every retailer was this proactive

I purchased the above and it does collect the dust very well. However a large feather fell out which I pushed back in. When the seller contacted me re the purchase I explained and he immediately refunded my money and postage, and once in stock, sent out a replacement. The feathers on the replacement were longer and bit more bushier, although the first one was still perfectly okay. However, this one had a horrid smell and even though I've put it outside it does still smell. So hopefully this will wear off. Apart from that I would still recommend this product.

Great for cleaning blinds

bought this feather duster for our new venetian blinds. the duster was recommended by the blind company and it is just the job.

This feather duster is of Extremely poor quality. There are very few feathers which look as though they will fall out very quickly. It does not resemble the other feather dusters that I have purchased in the past from another supplier. I would NOT think of purchasing from this company again.LATER. Since writing the above review I have used the feather duster and as I predicted after seeing the poor quality, two large feathers fell out immediately I started to dust. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I love this feather duster. It does what it says on the tin. Antistatic dusting.! It won't remove sticky dust. I use a microfibre slightly dampened cloth on that. Or just wash ornaments in cool water with a tiny amount of washing liquid. Rinse and dry naturally. I shake it out outside and it gets rid of any residue not the ornament, the duster. People expect too much from some gadgets. This is for light loose dust not for cleaning under toe nails and behind the loo. It is however , very useful as a dog tickler. My dog likes a little dusting with it as well. I plant it in a vase when not in use, no not the dog the duster which looks like an art statement. I have three Parrots who deposit dander micro feathers. They form dust everywhere. I need a quick solution. How ironic is that?!

Nice duster to get around with when cleaning. Quality is good and no feathers lost after using many times.
