John FriedaVolume Lift Thickening Mousse 200 Ml, Volumising Mousse Thin Hair

I’m new to John Frieda products so I was interested to see how this moose performed. I like the scent. It’s very non descript so not a heavy scent, not flowery just gentle and in the background. The moose is really creamy and I didn’t find it sticky at all. I don’t apply it with my hands so I can’t say how it feels on your skin. I always add a line to my hairbrush and brush it through my hair for an even spread. This way always seems to work best for me but I’m sure everyone does it differently. It does seem to give my hair extra volume when I’ve blow dried it and I do get a good hold in my style. It’s not as strong as other mooses I’ve tried in the past so if I was going out and really wanted my style to stay in place I’d probably add hairspray on top. It’s very easy to put a brush through my hair after using it so it doesn’t make my hair stiff. I haven’t encountered any negative reactions to the moose and my hair feels in good condition after using it. Cost wise it seems a fair price to pay. It’s more expensive than some but cheaper than others so I was happy with the cost. I would order it again without hesitation as I think it’s a nice product that does the job and doesn’t cost the earth.

Good hair stuff

I'd been using another product for years, and decided I needed a change. I don't usually like anything that's scented, but, going by the reviews, I thought I would risk it. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I did think it would make my hair firmer so that it stayed in place. After the first go, I nearly gave up, but carried on trying it, and after a few goes, I got used to the texture of my hair. Strangely, although this seems to make my fine hair even softer, it does keep its hold! The scent is barely discernable, but what you can smell is very pleasant. I'm a convert!

What a great product. I know mousse is a bit passe but it’s moved on since the 80s and this mousse is kickin’ it at the top. I was a hairdresser in a past life so I know. A light smell that dissipates quickly on drying. Work into roots of hair for that lift and hairdry. No stickiness or gummy feel, hands rinse easily and no build up. Can be used on wet or dry hair for that zhcuch and movement you want.

I find this product very good. Only gripe - the push button foam dispenser has failed on 2 items!

Great mousse, gives good body and lift when blow drying. Well worth the price.

Just enough for giving volume and height to my thinning hair. Very pleased with this product.
