Quality wood
I actually don't use these to play with, I use them for crafts. The wood is good quality and smooth. The pieces are also uniform in size, which is important when gluing them together.

The kids have a blast with this
This toy is about as simple as it gets but the kids really like playing with it. Half the fun I think comes from the silly and outrageous "forfeits" they write on the blocks. We did find a block or two that was a little rough (sandpaper) and we used a different marker than the one provided because it bled into the wood. But overall it's a pretty good product. If I could make any suggestions to the manufacturer they would be to provide a bag of some sort to store the pieces and a different marker that doesn't feather on wood.

Nice small set – wish it had a storage case/bag
Nice stacking block set for play in a small area. The pieces are smooth with no splinters and slide easily against each other, but I did notice that the ink from the felt-tip pen bleeds into the grain of the wood making the written words look blurry. I also wish the set came with a small bag or box to hold the pieces. It is very difficult getting them back in the original cardboard. And there are no instructions on how to play the game using the enclosed dice. On the side of the box there is a header saying "Playing with the Dice", but the written instruction itself never mentions the dice.

even comes with a marker to make one block an instant loss brick
as stated in the title you can draw on the blocks and depending on the group of people you plan to play this with you could make one block an "Instant loss" or take a shot Block. but what I did was something different. I put the +4 on a couple of the bricks and if you pull one of those blocks out you have to go four times back to back or forfeit. rules still apply. if the tower falls during those four times its still a loss. many have dreaded my version of the game lol.

It’s more skill than luck fun for all ages
It was too early for dinner when we got home yesterday so we decided to set up and play with this wooden block tower. The idea is to remove as many blocks as possible without making the tower collapse. I found it to be easier to solve than my wife and sister who aren’t mechanically inclined. I chose the blocks that appeared slightly loose and picked them in ares that seemed to be more supportive, the ladies just randomly pushed and pulled on them and the tower would collapse. It was more fun when I did it alone as I was my own competition. I will bring with me when we go to friends as I have one friend who’s wife is an architect and I’m sure she will do better . Overall it fun when the competition is equal happy I finally got it

Entertaining "Tumbling Tower" Game with Quality Blocks
This set is exactly the same as the brand-name game it resembles. This set adds a die to add an extra element of chance, but we do not use it. The test of skill and luck itself is sufficiently entertaining. The blocks are consistently sized and properly milled so that misshapen blocks do not interfere with the fun.
