If you like caramel it’s a good selection
The selection of caramel, milk, soft centres, batons and slabs is a good mix for any caramel lovers. The use by date was a bit short and they are expensive and seemed a little shaken up from the delivery. I would buy again if they were on offer but wouldn’t pay full price.

AWESOME
These chocolates were part of a birthday present for mum. Something extra special what our mum's deserve. I'd heard of Hotel but never tried them so googled as you do, & looked on reviews. My mum has always appreciated good chocolate (havn't we all ), & usually likes Lindt. I wanted something different that would make her sit up & take notice! Well they worked. I got a txt with one word..Awesome. The flavour of the chocolate first of all is velvety smooth with a thick layer of heaven. All the boozy centres are in their own right, fabulous. Each sumptuous chocolate was savoured & loved. I cannot rate this Hotel chocolat box high enough. I tried one at my mums 2 days later & it was glorious! Going to get another box for her at xmas. My mum deserves the best!

Arrived and were Completely Melted and Inedible, Amazon replaced free of charge
I sent these to a colleague in recognition for great work done on a recent project, so was absolutely devastated to see the condition that they arrived in. Completely melted and inedible - very disappointing. I will take this up with the supplier and see how they react.Update - I called Amazon and they immediately despatched a replacement box of chocs which have been received and are in perfect condition (see photo). I have revised my rating from 1 star to 4 stars as a result.

Lovely chocolates
Nothing to dislike except price, but then it does not stop me buying them. Love these chocolates not too sweet which some brands can be. Nice flavour and look nice. I especially like the chocolate brownie which i always buy when near a shop.

Very close to expiry date and tasted poorly
We have had these before and previously were very happy with them. We bought these for christmas, and once they were opened and tasted over the xmas period, it became apparent that something was not quite right. On closer inspection they expiry date has passed a week before (delivery was 2 weeks before xmas) and after sampling half a dozen we threw the rest in the bin as they had a strange unpleasant after taste.Not a good purchase
