I got this Dashcam for my sons car. Seems like every time he comes home he a story of a crazy driver or pedestrian, or an almost got in an accident story. I was in an accident a few months ago and having my dash camera really helped to support who was at fault for the accident, so I wanted my sons to have a camera in his car as well.As for the review, you get what you pay for.The Pros:- Picture quality is good- Nighttime recording is good- front & rear cameras for good price- Easy Install- Can set size and quality of recordings (1 min, 5 min / 1080p, 2K, 4K)The Cons:- Battery doesn’t hold charge for long- Buttons on side feel cheap and are finicky. They have long press and short press functions, but the device doesn’t seem to register momentary short presses well.- The App is basically useless.- The double sided sticky tape for the rear camera mount failed after 1 day.- Power up through mount is intermittent. Have to plug cable directly to camera (not mount)Regarding using the App. You have to connect your phone to the WiFi generated from the camera, then open the app. Half the time the while trying to connect the camera will go to standby and the Wifi will turn off. Once I finally connect to the camera the App says “Please insert TFcard to the recorder” /“No memory card detected”. However I have a 256GB micro SD card in the camera. I even formatted the card twice using the device to format it.So basically the only way I can view the recordingsIs to take the camera off the magnetic mount and plug it into my PC (have to put camera in Storage device mode). Then I can view the recordings.It works for my needs. Wish the camera display was touch screen to make using easier, but it’s an inexpensive camera set.

My daughter wanted a dash cam for her car, but didn't want to spend a lot. This unit appeared to be a good mix of features and price, and the reviews were mostly good, so we ordered one. The first one that showed up was obviously a returned unit and the GPS unit was broken, so we asked Amazon for a replacement. They sent a second unit right away. The second unit showed up intact, so I decided to set it up in my office to figure out the best settings and get used to how to access menus and such. At first, things looked good. I had it record some videos and then transferred them to my computer and they looked good. I attached the rear camera and set it to record some videos with that as well. All was good.I then decided to let it sit and record for an extended period to make sure it would work as intended if the car was driven on a longer trip. That's when the problems started. The camera recorded for about 15 minutes and then shut down. Each time I powered it back up, the length of time it would record before shutting down got shorter. Once it started doing this, I could not get it to record longer than a few minutes before shutting down.Remember the first camera where the GPS unit arrived broken? Well, we hadn't returned it yet and the camera was fine, so I decided to test that one as well. In the end, that camera ended up doing the same thing, only worse. That one wouldn't stay on for even a minute before shutting down.As another review mentioned, I did have trouble with setting the time on this unit. There is a time zone setting in there, but nowhere could I find anything about what time zone was appropriate for my area. I took a guess that the -5 zone was correct because I live in the U.S. Eastern time zone (Greenwich - 5). In the end, the unit kept changing the time on me as well, so I'd say something is wrong with that part of the system.Overall, I'd say the camera and recording quality appears to be decent, but the rest of the hardware is very iffy. Both these units are going back and we will try something else.

It is a little difficult to learn how to use,. It could use a better how to guide, I ended up having to go to YouTube to figure out how to use it.However this is my 3rd dash cam and it has better quality videos than any camera I have had in the past. The night vision is pretty good and I would definitely recommend thiscamera to anyone that is looking for quality videos.

I purchased this camera to put in our Q7. The camera is very easy to install and adding the rear camera was also easy. Image quality is good. Screen is a bit on the small side but it will broadcast via wifi to your smartphone. The image size and quality in the app is great. The rear camera being broadcast to my phone is very helpful while towing so I can see what is going on in the trailer. Only issue I have had is the buttons can be dicey at times with not registering the press right and then jumping around, hence the 4 stars on the overall rating. Overall this is a great camera for the price.

Set up was a breeze. I've had many other dashcams in the past and this one easily tops them all. I was a little apprehensive at first due to the small size, but this thing is packed with advanced features. You could easily spend $200 or more and end up with something with half as many advanced features as this one. I can imagine that the included second camera would be really useful to someone pulling a trailer. I actually set mine up to monitor my blind spot and it's so easy to switch to the auxiliary camera feed. This package includes everything you need to neatly set up the two included cameras. Thankfully, I haven't had to use the emergency record function that is triggered when the accelerometer senses an impact, but it's an awesome feature for peace of mind. It's nice to know that this camera has your back in the case of an accident, there's even a watermark with your location that you can add to the feed. The quality of the video, even at night is really impressive. If you're on the fence about purchasing this, just go for it, you will not regret buying this premium camera. 10/10 all around!
