Once I worked out how to calibrate the drone, set up was easy. As I am a novice at flying drones, for the first few flights I used the eco mode, which is kind of a slow motion setting (any mistakes can be rectified easily). Flying the drone is very easy after a few goes and it's quite addictive. I have only tested the range to about 100m as any further I cannot see the movement of the drone. It can go a lot further but will try when I am a more experienced pilot. The return to home button works very well, I have used this a few times when I get a bit nervous. I purchased a Muvi camera to use with the drone and the video is very good from that. The 3D gimbal works very well and means the video is smooth. This is my first drone and my impressions of the Muvi Q1 is very good. I would definitely recommend this drone to first time users of a professional drone. Shipping was very fast!.

I am an experienced drone pilot and have only flown this Veho a handful of times. The drone has had now several serious incidents where it suddenly disconnects from the controls and flies out of control. Initially I assumed that my setting up of the GPS system was at fault (which is why I didn't return it sooner) as the in box instructions on how to setup are incorrect, yet having later found correct videos on Youtube by the constructor it seemed to be the answer.Unfortunately not and even after diligently following the manufacturer's instructions, in many separate incidents, the drone loses gps randomly and flies into a wall, tree or child. I kid you not. It does seem there is an issue with the device that will cause either self destruction or serious injury at some point. These reviews on Amazon.com were very similar to my experience.

Bought the Drone right around the time the weather went all weird so flight time has been limited! it looks good and fairly easy to set up, calibration etc. I did have one issue with a broken propeller guard, I contacted the manufacturer directly (not the seller) and they said they would replace it, it hasn't arrived! When the weather changed I managed to get in a few flights but started to have issues with the drone reacting slowly to commands, I then realised the front, green lights were flashing constantly. I calibrated everything again but to no avail. So again I approached the manufacturer, over the course of 2 weeks they had me try various reset solutions, all failed. By now the drone was spending more time in its box than in the air, so I made the decision to return it to the seller. I am gutted, I really enjoyed it, if I get the chance I would buy it again and i would recommend this product to anyone. I just hope no flashing lights next time around!!

Haven't had a chance to fly it yet, with the inclement weather (hence the four stars)... however it all looks good so far. Arrived a day earlier than expected, well packaged, all the elements look pretty well made (except for the propeller guards, which seem a little flimsy). I have a GoPro Hero 4 which I have attached and then tested the controller to drone set up, GPS connection, remote gimbal control and rotor start and stop - It connected well and all appeared to work as expected... so now for some better weather to test actual flight and filming.(PS. I am a novice drone flyer, so hopefully this will be a gentle introduction... I have been reviewing and researching drones for months now, and as I can't afford the Phantoms, Mavics or Sparks and as I already have a GoPro, I decided on this option.)

(New) Can't calibrate it, Loses balance, stay away.You can't buy baterys separately. I don't even want to try if the follow me watch is working its enough dissapointment.

Rubbish. You can't get a spare batteries anymore.
