Please remove Made in Sheffield - it's embarrassing
I agree with the others, nearly there but not. It feels like the design dept at Pimoroni must have become disillusioned and given up before this product became fit for purpose. The idea that anyone could accept a method of securing a miniature electronic board which involves a clamping force acting directly on to the components is almost beyond belief. The best solution imo would be a third piece of acrylic which would have it's centre cut out leaving a narrow strip around the edges with the 4 holes cut out so that it acts like a spacer. Granted that it would mean that the camera would be slightly recessed but in the unlikely event of any vignetting, the hole would have to be enlarged slightly. The alternative is washers as spacers and I have many at home but none with a small enough diameter. I was lucky to receive 7 nuts with my kit so as an interim measure I have used 3 of them between the camera board and the acrylic and I will lash up something to act as a 4th one. If they supplied 8 nuts it would be better than nothing.I realise that it is only a fiver but I would be much happier paying say £7.50 if it included a way of attaching the camera without fouling the board itself. FWIW, I have had a hunt here on Amazon and for some reason all the camera mounts are all flawed in one way or another. For assembly, a pair of decent tweezers makes life less frustrating.

Basic, does the job nicely
I wanted a mount to hold the camera in position against a window, and to make the camera less visible as a camera. The mounting is fiddly, both pieces need to have a film peeled off before use. The screws are not white nylon (as in the sales picture) but metal, see my photos. The two pieces clip together, which may take a fair amount of force. There was a spare screw and three extra nuts in the bag, which I appreciated after dropping one on the floor. The package is tiny, virtually lost inside the jiffy bag it arrived in. There was no cover note or instructions (like which way around to put the screws is, or to peel off the protective film). Still gets 4 stars, as this is very good value and once in place it looks pretty nice.

Not bad, but I have a better idea.
This item could be brilliant. As it is, it's just okay. It is a very cheap item that could be improved thus:- The item would be much improved by a hinge. I have decided that, rather than use this product, I have ordered some 4x2 lego hinges from ebay and shall just tie the picam to one of those and drill through the base.- the packaging was way too tight. Upon attempting to extract it from the packaging I had screws and nuts bouncing all over the place.- There are no instructions whatsoever. It's fairly obvious what to do, EXCEPT that, if you put the nuts on the reverse (as shown in the picture) you will risk tearing capacitor C1 off the board when tightening.- There is no profiling for the circuitry in the rear of the plate, such that tightening the screws either twists the whole board away from its proper alignment, or bends the board and risks fracturing it.

Good for the price.
This inexpensive bracket arrived in a padded envolope that contained the mount sealed in what appeared to be shrinkwrap. Be careful when unwrapping. The camera mounting bolts are translucent white. These bolts and their tiny nuts are easily overlooked when unwrapping the bracket and if you spray them onto the floor they are not the easiest things to find again. The bolts were a perfect fit through the mounting and the camera but I found it quite difficult, with my large fumbly fingers, to fit the tiny plastic nuts to the ends of the bolts without crossthreading. I note that an extra nut and bolt was supplied so perhaps others had this problem. The two pieces of the mount click together nicely but, for the configuration shown in the Amazon photograph, it is necessary to crop the end of the the bottom two bolts. I recommend this mounting because it adds weight and insulation to the camera PCB which otherwise is unprotected and tends to flail around on the end of its ribbon cable.

Poor design, metal fixings, weak clips, look elsewhere.
Not very good, probably going straight in the bin. As well as coming with metal fixings, the flat plastic means the camera doesn't sit flat in the mount as the components on the camera side prevent this, so you have to use either spacers or the supplied fixings, making two sets of metal fixings on your circuit board. There are tracks very near the fixings so I wouldn't use those. The angled bracket clips on very loosely. Overall, I'd recommend not getting this.

Compatible with Logo® bricks
Bit awkward to fit the camera and really, really needs some washers to space the circuit board from the mount but this is not really the suppliers issue. Usefully, the cutouts match the thickness of Lego® plates and the mount itself is 4 studs wide so it is easy to build a custom support from Lego® if you need a little more customisation with your Pi camera.

Too light weight.
It's too light-weight and falls over at the merest provocation. The ribbon cable also tends to make it fall over too. It is only suitable for the standard lens supplied with the camera, so if you upgrade the lens (as I did) then it's no longer useful.

Good value but fiddly.
Simple, cheap, works ok. Would prefer packing that did not have to be torn open, scattering tiny screws and nuts. Also no instructions. It took me some trial and error to realise that there were two nuts for each screw. I then put a screw through each hole from the front and tightened a nut onto it. These act as spacers. Then put on the pi-cam board and fix with a second nut on each screw.
