Spin Master Games Hatchimals EGGventure

What a cute little game! My girls (aged 3 and 4) are Hatchimal OBSESSED. They can tell you all their names and where they live and all sorts of pointless information.I bought this game for them as I thought they would enjoy it (plus I want to encourage a love of board games). They don't like it, they LOVE it!It's a fairly simple game which my 4 year old grasped easily (my 3 year old needs a little help). Basically you move your piece around the board and when you land on a hatching site, you can pick an egg of that colour on the board. If it matches one of the cards you were dealt you keep it. The exclusive Hatchimal figures are your playing pieces and this game promotes counting, memory, colour recognition and social skills. We unboxed it this afternoon and have already played 3 games. It kept the girls attention for nearly 2 hours!The drawbacks are it contains quite a few tiny pieces that would be VERY easy to lose but as I will be supervising them each time anyway, that's not an issue.All in all a very good purchase and at £12 pretty good value considering it comes with 4 exclusive Hatchimals which would retail at £3 each anyway.

My daughter was very upset that it doesn’t come with the figures as shown, all it comes with is paper pictures that go in a stand. Very disappointing

My children love Hatchimals Colleggtables so this game was very well received by them. They loved the Hatchimals that were included (an elefly, tigrette, penguala and sealark - inside the egg). The game rules were easy to follow and we enjoyed the game. However, my children also like to play with this in their own way and have great fun pretending to hatch the "eggs" (by rubbing the little hearts on the cards and pretending not to know who's going to "hatch")

Our 4 year old daughter received this as a present on her birthday. It is her favourite game. We literally play it every day at least once. What's great is we haven't got bored of it either.It is simple but fun, travel around the board to the different lands and try to collect your hatchmals by finding the corresponding token in the different lands, fist player to collect them all wins.

Great fun and exciting game. Easy to play but keeps you entertained.
