Osomount Push Car CD Player Holder for iPhone and Smartphone

This is a good phone holder and well designed. If you don't play CDs in your car then the CD mounting mechanism is great - it really holds the phone securely, and I have a Note 4 with a case on which is bigger and heavier than most phones. I like the quick locking and release mechanism as well.The only issue was that the advert on Amazon stated that this model had a built in NFC chip, but we found that was not the case when it arrived. We contacted the company through their own website and they explained that this model no longer has built in NFC, and that they'd asked Amazon several times to change the listing but to no effect (although their own website also stated this model had nfc so not sure about that). However, we were a bit disappointed as it was mainly for the nfc that we'd gone for this model though - but they sent uus out an older model with an nfc chip in free of charge so that was fine. The discovery of the CD player mounting system was a happy accident - I can recommend that

After buying a few cheaper phone holders and never being happy I came across this one thought I may as well try it. Afterall if I did not like it I could send it back!! This is brilliant - utilising the CD slot that is no longer used for CD's it gives your phone a stable, non-wobbly ride. (You can still play CD's if you want). Out of the way, not in your windscreen view and yet easy to reach. Simple to fit and a GREAT all round product that does the job easily, with no fuss, no holes or damage. Easy to take with you and fit in another car. Excellent. Very happy with my car phone holder at last... anyone want to buy a few other useless items?

Bought this, after using an Osomount Space Mount ( Osomount- Space Mount - Universal in Car Holder - Strongest Suction Cup - Black ) for around 2.5 years. Sadly this lasted less than a month, snapping where the flat part of the CD mount rises up to meet the ball/socket joint.Being able to see inside that plastic I can see there's nothing in it to provide any strength and it was only a matter of time before it failed. Might not be the same experience for everyone but sadly it hasn't lived up to the product it replaced. I don't trust a replacement to survive either so will be looking elsewhere.

This phone holder is very sturdy and solid. It is a high quality finish that fits in the with the interior of my car. The clamp for the CD slot holds on well as does the convenient, "one touch", push-to-clamp jaws for holding your phone. Brilliant.BUT, one star is taken off as apparently the newer models of the "Push" (mine bought March 2015) do not have NFC built in. The Amazon listing title "Osomount Push Car CD Player Holder with Built In NFC for iPhone and Smartphone" was/is incorrect. Hence no mention of NFC on the box delivered as mentioned in another 4 star review by "H Jones-Glass". My box was the same.5 stars to Osomount when I contacted them directly for their quick response and giving me the correct information. No stars to Amazon for not updating their listing title.However, from having this problem I have discovered that if you really do need NFC you can currently buy  self-adhesive NFC tags  on Amazon starting from around £2.99 for 10, delivered . Whether this would be same, I do not know.

Was in the market for a holder for my Xperia Z2 and this really did solve pretty much all my problems.The holder fits perfectly in my CD slot and the clever engineering of the grip means that it won't fall out. This therefore avoids having to have the holder up on the windscreen and in my eye line. Furthermore, the built in NFC (which I never really knew existed until looking for products like this) works as intended with the app that I downloaded called "Trigger". My phone now connects to my in-car bluetooth, switches on loud mode and boots up the Spotify app in a fraction of the time it took before.My phone is quite large, but despite this the gripping arms do a great job (Although the position of the power button and volume controls on the Z2 does affect where I can place my phone) and my phone does very little wobbling inside the grippers when being used.The device also has full 360 degree rotation which means I can place my phone in the holder horizontally which therefore means that I obstruct less of my radio controls. I suppose given your car and how the dash is laid out this could be argued as a negative, but I was fully aware of this when I bought the product and as I mentioned previously I am personally happier with a holder in this clever location than up on my windscreen. It's not like my dash is inaccessible though - my hand just doesn't have a direct route now..In summary, I haven't physically compared this holder to others in a lower price range but I am more than happy with this holder even though it is in a higher price bracket. The features and quality of this product are enough for me to justify the price I paid. I am therefore rating it 5*.

The best phone holder I've ever boughtI drive a transit the holder fits lovely in the cd slot which is just above the charger it rotates so you can have your phone whichever way suits youWorth every penny, only thing I haven't worked out is the nfc weather it works with the iPhoneI've got the 6 with the life proof case and it still fits

Can't comment on the NFC capability but the mount fits both an Audi 6 slot CD auto changer and a single slot Ford CD although the latter is a tight fit. The mount easily holds an iPhone 5S with bumper case but if you have a phablet you would need to check the maximum supported size. I have never bought a screen or AC mount as they either impede vision or AC capability but this mount is unobtrusive, reasonably stable and simple to use.

Holds my iPhone 6 perfectly and fits in my Fiesta Titanium great. Haven't been able to take advantage of the NFC as the iPhone doesn't currently support his type of gadget.
