My Grand daughter was delighted with this present. She has recently started horse riding, and will really find it very useful when doing stable management and for all other aspects of looking after the horse. My own children have the older versions of The Manual of Horsemanship (from when they were in Pony Club) and I love the design of the new version, which is very clear and well laid out and I think a lot easier to read.

A really good book that goes through basic knowledge to more advanced subjects. It's been a big as a reference for me when completing written apprenticeship work. Some of the information is a little dated and doesn't always explain why certain things are done - which I'm guessing is mostly tradition. Overall its a good book worth reading for anyone getting into being a groom, rider or own their own horse.

I really like this book it’s got me everything I need to know so if you have a young man on your hands go and get it now I will rate it 5 Out of five it’s really good if you have a young rider I don’t know much going ahead and right now is brilliant because I am a rider
