Amazing headphones, used daily for my swim and gym sessions and couldn’t be happier with them!

These headphones do exactly what they're supposed to - I bought them primarily for swimming and swimming has never been so much fun! Yes, they do sound a bit muffled and quiet underwater, but that's completely normal considering the fact that the ear tips have a water sealed membrane. I've been listening to both music and audio books and have been having no problems hearing everything. They are also great for biking (with the ambient mode, I can hear the traffic around me) and for working out (taking a shower with earphones is extremely satisfying), Overall, I can't recommend them enough for people looking for a versatile pair of sports earphones, especially if you swim!

Excellent for swimming. Never come out during swimming or if in gym running, very secure.Maximum sound level is not as high as I like but not sure if that was down to my file transfer.

I purchased these mainly as I run and hate carrying anything like phones or MP3 players. I also use on occasions swim a few lengths in the pool so after trying some cheap Chinese units thought I'd try a set by a premium brand like Sony.What a mistake. First the sound is terrible unless you physically push and hold them into your ears, but they didn't seat well especially in the water. Secondly the volume seems restricted, as well as not seating properly, the volume is so restricted you struggle to hear any music through them.Thirdly the biggest issue is they stopped working after being about two weeks out of the 12 month warranty. The Amazon supplier wouldn't help and referred me to Sony, who were very poor and refused to offer any goodwill and refused to replace the headphones, and stated the headphones couldn't be repaired.If I knew then what I know now I would go anywhere near these headphones and my faith in Sony gone in the same direction.

It’s great for swimming, only when head is submerged under water. Sadly I’ve struggled to find tracks that play clear and loud - I find the quality of the audio is very lacking. Even when connected via Bluetooth the sound quality of music both via iTunes and YouTube app are average. The built in music Sony has given does have better sound quality - just need to work out how to download music of that same quality because so far it’s been a nightmare trying to extract songs from my iTunes that I’ve purchased. So the tracks I’ve stripped from YouTube don’t sound great even at top volume.

So far so good! I ought after my last pair gave up on me, same brand but my last set could only hold songs and had no Bluetooth capabilities. This is great as it allows me to have my set playlists for when i go for my runs outside and a different playlist form songify every time I run inside keeping it a bit more interesting. Great fit as always and fantastic all round sound compared to some other competitors, worth every penny.

The sound quality isn’t great but that’s not the main reason to buy these headphones. They work really well for swimming and are very simple to use. If you swim a lot then look no further.

I bought these headphones for swimming in particular. Unfortunately, the sound is too muffled and I can't hear enough. I can't recommend these SONY waterproof headphones for swimming. As headphones, they are fine and are easy to use.
