Packaged very well, looks a very healthy plant planted out and looks to be thriving with some buds already to flower.

Having ordered the same item on 21st July and been very happy with the size and quantity, decided to reorder as a gift for a friend, too embarrassing to gift what turned up , placed a 50p piece and standard wine bottle for scale….. the leaves have holes in them and it doesn’t look healthy , very unhappy with the purchase.

Very small plant. It was however nice and healthy and is growing away remarkably quickly for a Gardenia.

Expensive but good quality : however gardenias are expensive to buy generally

After much TLC, replanting in ericaceous compost and keeping on a sheltered patio, this plant gave up the ghost. Purchased in March and dead by the end of June. There was never any sign of fresh growth during this period.

I bought this Gardenia because it was advertised as a hardy garden plant. I have had indoor ones for years and loved them and was excited to get one for the garden. The parcel was fine and the plant good and healthy with at least 6 buds. However the information card with it says" The Gardenia grows best in a bright sunny spot. On the window sill is a great spot. Water the Gardenia regularly..........The Gardenia can also be kept outdoors in the summer, on the patio or balcony but because of it's tropical origins it prefers to spend the winter inside".So it is clearly not an "hardy outside plant and if I'd wanted another indoor one I could have gone to the garden centre and bought a bigger one at half the price. Would like some advise as to whether the wrong information card was sent with it or indeed it's indoor preferably.

I didn’t expect it to be like the one in the picture given it states 9cm pot but I didn’t really expect this either. It has reasonable roots though so I guess we will see.Update… after speaking with the seller a replacement was sent, much better plant and feel happier now. See second photo.
