BACK TO CYCLING AFTER 25 YEARS.Was a bit anxious because of the price, with more expensive options available. New Year resolution to get fitter, but after the first ride felt rather uncomfortable. Purchased these shorts about 2 weeks ago and I've been on the bike for 6 rides and they are superb. They wash easily. Excellent for what I wanted, no pains now except in the muscles. I purchased xxl for 40inch waist and they fit perfect. Not been more than 7 miles yet but without these shorts I was struggling to do 2 miles, now I'm only limited by my fitness. Will be buying another pair as soon as I need the smaller xl size.

I bought these to add an extra layer of comfort on my cycle rides as I was getting a rather numb posterior after some long rides. I invested in new cycling shorts (not cheap ones either) but still didnt get the desired results. I have worn these several times now and my rides have been far more comfortable with no numbness at the end. They are a very snug fit without the feeling of being excessively tight or restrictingWould recommend to anyone who has a feeling of numbness after a long ride

I bought these to use under a standard pair of shorts for when I'm pottering on my Mountain Bike, rather than belting along wearing performance cycle apparel. The padding is excellent. I originally thought that it would be too bulky compared to the padding in my Castelli Bib Shorts but it beds in nicely. I did not find that they rode up under my shorts and were very comfortable during an initial 20 mile ride.

I purchased a pair of these a couple of months ago as I was using an old bike for static training and found the saddle very uncomfortable. Now the weather has improved I again took to the roads but found I was getting saddle sore, so started wearing my padded undershorts and found them the answer to my posterior's prayer. So I ordered a second pair so I could have a pair in the laundry and a pair to wear.

Bought these based on previous reviews. Maybe I was expecting too much, but they’re not as good as others have said. The design seems good, with a breathable fabric forming the main part of the shorts, with what appears to be well shaped and positioned padding. Size wise, they are a little snug, but I think that’s the way they are supposed to be.Not sure if the padding on mine was the same as others, but it certainly didn’t give the protection they have described, and the legs of the shorts crept upwards whilst riding to form a very uncomfortable material fold (just where you don’t need it if you get my drift!). As I’ve worn them , I guess I can’t send them back.
