Ideal For Moving Furniture
We bought this when having to move some heavy furniture about whilst having new carpets laid. The pads are reversible to allow use on carpets and hard floors. The white handle bar allows you to lever and raise the furniture up to slide the pads under whatever you are moving and then to lower it back down. You can then gently move the furniture about on the pads. On some occasions, it took us several attempts - especially on the carpets as the pads kept slipping away, so a star off for that. If you persevere with it, you will get there in the end. This is better than trying to ‘walk’ the furniture and risk damaging your carpets of floor. It’s one of those things that you will probably buy for a job and leave in the cupboard and forget - but it was worth the purchase and saves your back!

This is an excellent product, but there are some questionable flaws in the presentation:1.On the box is a banner reading "Even when you're home alone you can move it ON YOUR OWN!". On the leaflet enclosed with the product is a list of "Cautions". The fifth of these is "Two person operation. Do not attempt to use the product on your own".2.On the box is stated "2 pieces. Snap-in assembly required". The product comes fully assembled!3.The first Caution states "Maximum weight 100kG, distributed equally across all four sliders". Each slider bears a sticker stating "Bearing capacity 100kGs max". This clearly implies a total capacity of 400kG. Some clarification is needed here. However, based on our experience with this product, I seriously doubt the ability (as recorded by one reviewer) that it would be possible to move a piano this way.4.The stickers on each slider are stupidly applied just where the maximum sliding weight is felt. They would be better stuck on a non-sliding surface.5. This product is sold as a "Freelogix" product (quite a snappy name, I think). However, the name Freelogix does not appear anywhere on the product or on the packaging. The name which does appear is "Maxim". Just a puzzle, not an issue.6. It would be good to be able to buy extra sets of sliders.

Furniture mover
The product arrived quick and was able to utilise straight away, large cocktail cabinet with removable top. Moved whole unit in one without taking apart. The feet are good but need proper placement under each corner otherwise will move. The arm is very good but the rubber foot does come off if not careful. I would buy the system again

Not Teflon, and not suitable for chunky oak furniture
The best slider pads are those that are permanently fixed to the bottom of furniture with adhesive pads. These ones rely on a foam pad to provide friction between the glide pad surface and the furniture. The result with heavy chunky oak furniture on deep pile carpets is that they slide off the legs when you try to move the furniture. They might stay on for 50cm of sliding if you're lucky, but they will slide off.Ultimately these gliders are just pieces of smooth plastic. It's not teflon, and making matters worse they saw fit to add sticky paper labels to the glide surface. They help a bit, but not enough to be reliable. The lever is too narrow to use on heavy oak furniture without denting it. For lighter furniture, you wouldn't need it, but for heavy large furniture, the lever applies force over a very small area. If the area was larger, then you're less likely to damage your furniture.

Enables me to move my bed easily and silently
I live in an upstairs maisonnette and try to be considerate to my downstairs neighbours where noise is concerned. I have a double bed with storage under the mattress, which gets very heavy. Since fitting these slider pads I can move it easily and silently, which enabled me to fit more cupboard storage into my bedroom. If I want to get at the contents of a little used cupboard I just slide the bed over a few feet. I am going to buy more pads to fit under my heavy, leather sofa.

A great product
My fridge freezer had moved back into the recess and I couldn’t open the doors fully. Moving it was impossible by myself. I found this product on line and within a few minutes was able to bring the fridge forward. All by myself! Miraculous! I can now get to the goodies in the fridge! I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Good leveller bought pads separately
The leveller is very good. I’m a small women and used it to move 2 meter tall cabinets and bookcases myself on carpets and wooden floors. Though the soft pads were not enough for the job I needed they are a bit too soft and would slide off often. I bought another 10 round pads separately used them together and it was perfect.
