Very good but a little stiffer than usual
These a very good quality and sound nice. I am still a beginner but have tried a few reeds now, I find these a bit harder strength wise when compared to others that are supposedly the same strength ( in this case strength 3 ) for example I find dโaddario 3 are easier to play, probably my lack of technique but you might want to bear this in mind when choosing strength.

Nice set of beginners reeds.
I bought a second hand clarinet and had to replace all of the pads with good quality leather pads. I found the reed that I had was also faulty and needed to buy a new set. I found the information on this product very helpful as I had no idea of what I was doing. The original reed was a 2.5 and a bit stiff for me to get a full range of notes out of so I opted to follow the advice and by the 1.5 beginners reeds, problem solved. Now I can anoy my neighbours. Size 3 review
I buy these reeds regularly from here and have always been pleased with them. The size 3 is not really for beginners, if you are starting out then a 1.5 or a 2 would be best. I started out on a 2. You know when you need to progress because you have to start raising the reed higher on the mouthpiece. Once it starts overlapping higher than the mouthpiece due to it being too easy and poor reedy sound quality you need to go up a half size. Set that new size a little lower than the mouthpiece top ridge so that the thinnest port it only just touching the ridge across the top. That makes it play at its softest point. As your muscles get stronger and your endurance longer you will need to slowly start raising your reed set up so that a thicker part is vibrating against that top ridge.... until you eiether find you long term size because you no longer out grow the sizes or you need the next one up. Im not talking each time you put a reed on, it can take a year or so to outgrow a size as a beginner! Mouthpieces play a part in what size is best for you too. On one mouthpiece I am a 2.5 but my main mouthpiece I am a 3. Whatever you play best on and sound the best, with a reasonably good endurance to play for as long as you need to without muscle failure in your face, is the right size for you. Everyone is different. I have friends who started on a 2.5 and stayed on that size for good because the 3 was too much.

Fantastic change
A Great option for the more advanced clarinettist. I have previously used Rico reeds, I find these to have a warmer and more mellow tone, and is well worth the little extra effort to warm up. I also find them to be of better quality and more consistent, meaning more of them are usable and will last much longer - so a saving in the long run. I would recommend these to anyone who is learning Clarinet, and is looking for a new reed for higher level playing (I am about Grade 7, but would have benefited from these a good while ago).
