First of all, this is big, really big. It is made of fabric that is waterproof on the outside and soft on the inside, pretty typical for these things. It has a number of straps attached, and comes with three more stretchy straps to use as needed. There is a zipper opening at the bottom. It has the somewhat unusual design of covering the bikes on all sides, including the bottom. It has a tubular section for the hitch rack arm to attach to the hitch through, but that tubular section is not in the middle. I'm not sure how it will fit, depending on the rack. It is at least as tall as it is wide, so it may not fit every situation or four large bikes with 29 inch wheels for example. It is fits what you need it for, it's a pretty good deal. It's just different from most bike covers. The instructions reference motorcycles. It comes with some instructions for use and how to fold it back up and get it into the storage bag it comes with. It does fit back into the bag.

I purchased this cover for my bike to be used while transporting on the back of my SUV. The photos and description of the product listed this as appropriate use for the cover.After the first use, highway driving, no rain or bad weather, my bike was covered in stringy white fuzz everywhere: chain, gears, spokes, tires, etc… This has taken hours to clean and additional cleaning supplies purchased.The second use, same type of highway driving, the brake handle of my bike wore through the cover and permanently scratched my rear window of my suv. Again - no out of the ordinary weather or driving. My bike was otherwise secure and stable, but this cover was useless in protecting my bike and my vehicle.Total disappointment, hassle, and now a further expense to repair window & clean my bike.

I ordered the XXXL, but it was really too big! The XXL fits our 2 large bikes nicely. Lots of straps to snug it up, it was raining when I put it on, so not perfectly adjusted yet but you get the idea. Looking forward to testing on a long road trip. I have to make a strip for added trail lights.

We liked it but zipper broke on first usage.
