I just started using my second jar of this whipped beef tallow. I wanted to give it enough time to be able to see the results. This stuff is great. My skin is so happy! My face feels firmer with fewer fine lines and wrinkles. I decided to stop Botox a couple years ago and opt for natural skincare. I’ve tried emu oil, some of the essential oil blends, and then beef tallow. Not all beef tallow is prepared equally! This product comes in a high-quality jar with a metal lid, unlike some of the cheaper knock offs that are plastic in plastic. I love the way this product feels when I massage it in. It absorbs quickly and does not feel greasy. My skin drinks it up. The first jar lasted about a month and by the end of that month, my skin texture was smoother and more even toned. There is no scent whatsoever…no fake crap in what I’m putting on my skin. In reading some of the other reviews, I saw that it has helped with eczema, and I will be letting my husband try some on his eczema. Lastly, and also of great importance, I love that this product is made by hand at a small family business. I will be looking forward to trying other products made by Hearth & Homestead.

I cannot say enough about the many ways this product has improved my skin and simplified my skincare routine -- glad I chose the large size for greatest value. This versatile product has already replaced or enhanced many of my commercially-made products for face, neck, and eye area care, body moisturizing, and hand/cuticle care -- much easier to apply and much less expensive. I chose the balm with no essential oils, that's fragrance-free as well as quickly absorbed. So delighted with the resulting smooth, silky skin, I just ordered two more products from this maker. Buy this! I have been using this whipped tallow balm for 2 months and it has helped my dry aging facial skin more than anything else I have ever used. The dry red spots are gone and my face feels so soft. I hesitated trying tallow thinking it would just be greasy and not help, but I was wrong, this has been the remedy that my face needed. I purchased the lavender scent first and now using the unscented and both are great, the unscented is truly that. My daughter has also started using this and she is obsessed too. Love, love, love this tallow balm!

Just received tallow yesterday. I was so anxious to try this product. The reviews were excellent so I cleanse my skin and applied it to my face. It’s recommended to use a small amount because it goes a long way , I purchased the lavender tallow it goes on very smooth. It’s nice and creamy. I warmed it up between my hands before I applied it. I have to say I enjoyed it very much. It’s moisturizing. I have very sensitive skin and my skin felt very soft after it was applied . I went to bed with that on my face and when I woke up, my skin was nice and soft and supple. I do have wrinkles of course because I’m 78 years old, but they weren’t. They were softened and that’s only the first use so I put it on again this morning after I cleanse my face and I definitely like it and I am a big skin fanatic. I know there’s nothing that will make me go back in time and I don’t want to the only thing I want is to stay as healthy and my skin to be the best. It can be at my age so so far so good and I’ll get back if I have anything to add to this, but thank you very much for the family photo and your company sounds lovely. I really want to try the emu type but it was a little expensive for me for the first try but I will definitely use this. thank you so very much.

I absolutely love this tallow! I am someone who is very cautious about what I put on my face. I am 23 years old and have dealt with acne for the longest time. I like to use non toxic products and wanted my skincare routine to be very simple because I feel like the more I use, the more my face seems to breakout. I bought this after I finished up with a different face lotion and I have always loved tallow. Here are my thoughts: First off the packaging is very simple which is great. I got the unscented one because I feel like if I got scented it might cause me to break out. I read a few reviews beforehand that said a little goes a long way and it really does! I use this in the morning and at night, as well as a few times in between when my skin feels like it needs a little something. It doesn't make my face feel heavy and seems so absorb very well. My skin feels hydrated and it's not greasy at all which is AWESOME! My makeup seems to melt right into my skin when I apply this beforehand which is a game changer. I've also noticed my skin hasn't been breaking out as much which is so helpful. All in all I would recommend this especially if you are looking for a non-toxic product!

I’ve already gone through one jar and now I’m on my second—this whipped beef tallow balm from Hearth & Homestead is that good! The texture is incredibly smooth and easy to apply, and it absorbs nicely without feeling too greasy. No need to apply large quantities. I waited a little bit before reviewing because I wanted to give it a good try first. I received this product about a month ago. I ordered the orange scent and honestly when I first smelled it I could tell that it has a slightly beefy smell. But the orange scent is really nice and now that I’ve been using it awhile I don’t notice it anymore. My husband says he can’t smell it so maybe it’s in my head. The first time I put it on I used way too much and I feel like it did clog my pores, but that’s common for me when I try new things because of my sensitive skin. Since then I’ve used a tiny amount and rubbed it into my finger tips to warm it up and smooth across my face. It feels very luxurious and hydrating. My skin has not felt this clean and natural in a long time. I’ve had no more breakouts and I feel like it helps with my fine lines too. It is a small jar but I use it twice a day and I’ve barely used any so I think it will last a few months. Mine came whipped which I was happy about and I didn’t have to do anything special to it before I used it. Thanks Hearth and Homestead for making a great product!

Like everyone else, my algorithm was feeding me beef tallow products. I was skeptical, but I did some searching and found this whipped tallow. The lack of beef smell, affordable price and the amazing reviews had me interested. Little did I know, that this product would single handedly fix all my skin issues. I have DRY skin, and in my 30’s. I started seeing fine lines on my face and chest in early 30’s, as a result of side sleeping. This is the only product I have ever used that genuinely has reduced those fine lines and the magic started after the first use! Now every morning I wake up and those lines that would be deep from side sleeping (on my chest and face) are hardly visible. The more I use this the more I see them fading away or at least much less visible. I look about 5 years younger after using this stuff for like a week. I also have dry knuckles and a dry flaky scalp. This tallow balm has worked for those issues as well. And even after using it on my body, face, scalp, etc for a week, I still have so much left in the jar. I’m about to buy another jar and probably will get my boyfriend one as well. I will never be without this stuff I am fully hooked and I even stopped using the other moisturizers I have which are way pricier, because they never did for me what this product has. If you have dry skin this stuff is an absolute miracle and a must have!

I love this! I still have the wrinkles I had before so don't fall into the hype that you won't need bottom or whatever ads on social media say, but my skin feels smoother, more hydrated and healthier. Maybe it will slow down new wrinkles. But a really lovely product!

Well, this is my first time using this kind of product. I washed my face well, gently towel dried then applied all over my face and neck. I ordered the vanilla scented option. The scent is light and pleasant. It is smooth, creamy and easy to blend. It is not left feeling sticky or a residue on my face. For this first time in years my face feels moisturized and healthy. Helps with menopause face and skin changes lacking moister and that glow. After several hours it still feels good on my skin, it didn’t absorb and disappear leaving my face dry once again. I spent so much money on face creams, night creams over the years and nothing seemed to work well. The creams would simply absorb and either I’d re apply or just give up. I absolutely love this stuff. It’s an excellent product and I’ll be ordering a lot more for my skin routine. When people describe this as a 5 star I’m happy to say I totally agree. Now I’m looking to add this to my Birthday and Christmas wish list. I wholeheartedly believe this product was well thought of, tested with keeping the quality at a high standard. Thank you!

I ordered this not sure if it would be a good product. I tried it and I love it- my skin gets dry and I tried this product and it was so nice going on and feels so refreshing and my skin is refreshed. I also like it is from a family business and came with a little note that is is hand crafted and if I don't like anything about it to let them know and they will fix it.
