What a great game
This is one of those games that takes a couple of goes to get the hang of, and then when you do, what a great crack it is. You don't need any knowledge of horse racing whatsoever and the rules are easy to follow as are the instructions on the board and the betting. Honestly, what a game. The idea is to bet on your oponents horses to win as much money as you can before the end of the 6 races and your the winner. Simple. Well. Not quite as simple as that, because you can take out oponents with your really nasty horse racing cards that your dealt at the beginning which you can use to take out oponents during the race but also at the very end of the race when they think they've won. Honestly, what a game. This is our main go to board game with family and friends and its always a winner. Really really highly recommend this game.

Tactical fun
This takes a couple of goes to work out what's going on but then it all makes sense. It even works well if you have only 2 players. You don't need to know anything about racing or horses - just use your nasty streak to scupper your opponents.

Great for teenagers and family or adults as an after dinner game!
Got this for a family Christmas gift and played it with the family as nothing to watch on TV. I have a 13 year old daughter and two sons 18 and 21. Not easy to entertain all together any more. After sorting out the rules which did take about a half hour and then playing out the first of six races we were hooked. It was a bit cruel on my daughter on the first couple of races as people really did not want her winning those races. She coped with a couple of tears and trip to the bathroom for a little cry! However this game got better and better as we played through the race meeting. All rested on the last race with mum and dad competing with the big bets... won't tell you who won.Anyway for those who have played Monopoly or even UNO then you know they can be a bit nasty at times, this is nasty at times but a great two hours of entertainment. I highly recommend it and all the family are wanting another game instead of TV or console gaming! So if you want a game that is engrossing, entertaining and suitable for teanagers through to adults then don't hesitate and buy it. This will get used a lot so it is good value for money too. Also, unlike monopoly, that can go on forever if you play to the end, this game is about one race meeting of six races and took about two hours to complete.

Fun Game
It's very nasty! Better with 4 or more people - though we often play with 3. Don't be put off by the initial feeling of complexity - it's straightforward once you get going and you figure out how the the options on the really nasty cards. I'd like an expansion pack for them - Good family game.

Great game and becomes competitive
Was introduced to this game by a friend, although like most games it starts off slow while everyone understands how to play and becomes more strategic. The basics of the game is roll a dice and move round the track.Good game, not too taxing.Good tip laminate the betting slips as although they provide you with loads they will soon run out if the game is played continuously over time. Laminate the betting slip and get a white board pen or wax pencil, that way when the game is done u can just wipe away and re use next time.

Great fun game
It’s easy to learn so you can start playing straight away without learning loads of rules beforehand. This is this year’s family Christmas game - everyone loves it!

Very Enjoyable
I first played this with my flatmate who had a rather large collection of board games, safe to say I enjoyed it the first time I played it.The really nasty horse racing game is very enjoyable especially with the full 6 player, ( I would recommend 4-6), It's a great laugh, especially since you can win with virtually nothing or loose with everything.I decided to get my own copy, of which I am very glad I did as it is a nice addition to my collection. The only bad game I had of this was where no one won any of their bets so we never reached high amounts of money, however we still had a good time as it was an amusing circumstance.I would reccomend this game.

Wording on packaging
"Don't be surprised if you get diddled by your dad" is actually a description contained on the back of this game. It had me and my friends laughing however I think moving forward a rebrand may be a good idea.
