Firstly, this smells amazing! It's lovely & our dog liked it so much, she would gladly lick it off give the chance. It has helped with a rash that itches as it dries. The product itself seemed really hard when we first got it, but I think that was just the surface. After a few uses, it became so much easier. A lovely product that we all love.

Seemed to work well for a while and my dog's skin improved however I think she's allergic to something, so she still nibbles at her skin. This product did improve and sooth her skin at first. She had a sore on her leg, which cleared up after using this balm. Worth trying for your dog. Has a strange smell but not an awful smell, which is slightly lemon scented with antiseptic. My pooch must like the taste as she kept licking it. But as long as you keep an eye on them she did stop and let it work and absorb into her skin a bit. It's a little bit sticky after you apply it. Worth a try to help sooth your poochies skin.

First of all the product has a nice but not overpowering natural scent, which my dog did not seem to mind. He suffers from seasonal allergies every summer (pollen, grass etc) which give him red rashes, which he scratches and makes worse. Great alternative to aggressive steroid creams and Medicated creams which are not good for long term use. Has helped the rashes to heal quicker and prevent his skin from cracking, used along with antihistamines prescribed by vet. He has licked it with no Ill effect. Love that the ingredients are all natural. Warm up the product by constantly rubbing it in tin to make it easier to spread.

This smells quiet strong and pleasant, but it is really sticky so the dog just wipes this off everywhere.

Worked great with my Jack Russell who has developed a seasonal reaction to cut grass in the summer and gets sores under his legs where they join his body (his armpits in other other words). The balm stops him licking/biting at them giving them time to heal on their own. I also use Yumega itchy dog added to his food which helps too (no more hotspots appearing on his paws). These are (in my case) far better and much cheaper solutions than our Vet has offered who quite happily took well over £100 the previous summer giving us only very temporary fixes prescribing anti-inflammatory injections, steroids, anti-biotics etc, and wanted us us to spend even more (another £200 plus) on having an allergy test done when the sores kept returning. A pointless exercise since we know its clearly a seasonal issue and you can't keep your dog locked in all summer. Just to add: The flare ups lessened considerably when I took him off 'Advocate' flea & tick treatment and I am using a different (and much cheaper) spot on solution now (seems that Advocate aggravates the problem with my dog).

Perfect. Just what my Great Dane needed. Only problem that our rescue 'Zeta' liked it so much she thought she would try eating the tin !! However, it became a problem when we used it on 'Ragnar's' backside (which was inflamed) as she followed him nose-to-tail everywhere he went. I have suffered with allergies for more than 30 years now & i am personally addicted to this product. I use it on my hands & especially my brittle nails. Result: hands soft & nails - no longer brittle. Everywhere i go i am asked what that lovely smell is. They think I'm joking when i tell them it is my dogs' magical ointment !! I highly recommend this product as it is natural & you only need a little at a time as it goes a long way. THANK YOU for producing such an amazing product.

Because this product is quite a thick wax, it doesn't go into the skin very easily so is therefore quite easy for the dog to lick off. I also found that it stained my dog's white bib area pink, which has taken quite a few months to grow out (no amount of baths removed the staining). Not too much of a problem apart from people constantly asking if my dog was bleeding or had hurt herself! I thought the product smelt quite nice but to a dog's super sensitive nose, the smell might even be a bit overpowering.

Used 3 times now and my pups itching has reduced on his belly.Redness looks a little improved.Smells nice and natural.Easy to apply.Makes any surrounding fur look greasy.Small tub for the cost....but worth it as it seems to be doing the trick!!
