Fits perfectly on the side of my saucepan. It makes cooking pasta for two or more when you're watching your calorie intake a lot easier. I can measure out a smaller portion for myself and cook that alongside my partners bigger serving which is in the rest of the pan. No more eyeballing of quantities. The pasta cooks just as well in its little basket. I measure pasta by weight when cooking it so don't use the basket to measure out a serving but it looks pretty generous to me. I'm really happy I got this. I've wanted something similar for years and this one does not disappoint.

I use this all the time as i have wholewheat pasta and other half has white! It's slighty flawed in design - the height of the unit itself and the holes are slightly too high so I find i have to use more water to ensure the contents are firstly covered then more to account for absorption. It's also very small. It would benet from a lip or clip to hold it in place as tends to slip and move around in the pan.However, it is functional and fit for purpose - not perfect but great all the same.

This is very helpful for letting you know portion sizes especially as I do tend to go on the who cares side of things when it comes to pasta

I always make enough pasta to feed a small army so this is ideal for me and as it folds up is so easy to store as doesn't take up much room. Really pleased with my purchase 👍🏻

I bought one of these baskets from Grids of London. Now when I go onto my order history it comes up as Portion Control Basket from Jokari. Are these sellers one and the same?The item, intended as a gift took a week to arrive. However, when I opened the package I was extremely disappointed. In my opinion it should never have been sent out and should not have passed any quality control measures had they been in place. I complained to the Seller (as it was an Amazon Marketplace purchase).I was asked to send pictures which I did. These showed frayed and uneven green plastic around the edges; the green plastic gaping away from the grey plastic at the narrow/pointed end; on the base, where the holes are, a stuck piece of green plastic which cannot be removed and looks unsightly.I then received the following reply (copied word for word):Thank you for replying back by providing pictures. This is not a duplicate item we are sending as it receive from the manufacturer. If you are not happy we are happy to send a return label to return them for refund. Awaiting to hear. Appreciate your cooperation and sorry for the inconvenience caused.I don’t actually know what this reply means! I made it clear when I first contacted them that I was not happy with the purchase. I wasted time provided photos, at their request, to show it was far from perfect! Why did they not just email a return label when they first contacted me?I requested a return label and this was sent to me by second class post.I believe my refund has now been processed but has, in my view, taken too long.

the measurement is spot on as I tried weighing 100g pasta then put it in the portion control to see if it was the same to the line and it was spot on
