Great laptop for a very good price. Like new.

This was a reconditioned model and overall I think it was a bargain. The battery holds its charge well, the boot-up is quick and the keyboard is user-friendly. The reason i have only given 4 stars to the screen quality is that it's a bit on the small side. Since I bought this primarily for Zoom, this was a minor disappointment. Also surprised to find there was no CD reader. But, good everyday value.

Stopped working for no reason after 15 months of use.

This Lenovo ThinkPad X230 is a bit worn out the touchpad had a sticker on it and you removed it and it was the touchpad just a little bit weird keyboard is a bit worn out but overall a small machine which is light and portable i got it for my son who takes it to school with him and he says its amazing and works brilliantly great choice.

Purchased 2 of these as replacements for my wife and child's computers. In the end, my wife went back to her old computer and we ended up having our daughter's old laptop repaired. Why? Because these computers are rubbish. I am unsure why (and I am a software engineer) but the installation of Windows 10 on these computers seems to struggle with the processor/ram available to it. When booting up, you need to basically leave the system sitting for upwards of 30 minutes to allow it to sort itself out. Then when using it you have to limit how much you open as it quickly becomes overwhelmed. Neither was able to play Sims 3 or 4 on it which is a key game they both enjoy playing. Both struggled to run MS Office products and browsing the web was a horrible experience. Both computers are literally sat on a shelf collecting dust at this point because they are useless paperweights.

Very good purchase. I needed a small size, reliable yet fast budget laptop for my out-of-office activities so my choice has fallen on this Lenovo ThinkPad X230 12.5".Item has come fast and as described (refurbished, like new condition). Packaging was superb (thick-wall air-cushioned case) so thus no damage was possible. Laptop came with pre-installed Win 10 and complementary one-year-free BullGuard anti-virus software. Laptop does look like absolutely new. Not a single mark of any previous use. The battery life is OK, a bit less than 2 hours. If it was more than this I would have probably rated this purchase with sixth star. Absolutely satisfied.
