RoyPow I80 Portable Air Compressor, 12V DC Portable Car Tire Inflator & Pump tool for motorcycle, bicycle, balls and air cushion inflation

Bought this (along with a DIN/Hella adapter) to carry with me on my motorbike when touring. I had to use it yesterday for the first time to help a neighbour with her car. It's a great little device. The gauge proved entirely accurate (BMW tyre monitor confirmed). It's relatively quiet and quick. But best of all is the diminutive size. Terrific little machine and great value.

bought 3 weeks ago this pomp "RoyPow i80- 12 V Auto electric Air pump" to keep in the panier of my BMW bike as a practical tool and this morning tried to use it to pomp some air into my tyres to get the right pression, after plugging it into my mounted 12v socket, had my engine on and after few second, connecting the pump to the tyre's valve, the pump's light went down and the inflator stops pumping. i though the pump was faulty. RoyPow immediatly sent me a second pump. Finally BMW told me that these pumps can't be connected to the mounted 12V socket as it has a low amps limit. This pump requires a higher amps limit. But connected directly to the battery, the pump works well.BMW provides an useless 12V Socket as far as I am concerned.Thanks to the immediat reaction of RowPow, i can inflate my tyres again. Their pump was not the problem.

After initially ordering the Ring RAC635 inflator and being generally disappointed with its build quality and it not working from the box I looked for a more reliable and better quality product, and I can assure you this Rowpow I80 is the one. It's tiny but solidly built and you feel it will actually work when needed, highly recommend. Also I DIDN'T receive this as a free or discounted product to give a high score.

There are many portable air compressors on the market, but I was looking for one specifically to carry with me when out touring on my motorcycle and the compact size of this model made me plump for it. Once it had arrived, I was satisfied with the size and the reasonable build quality of it, but things went downhill from there.There were two crucial issues, which made it of no use to me. Firstly, the air hose is less than six inches long and that made attaching it to the tyre valve (avoiding the brake discs, sprocket etc.) very tricky indeed, as you are constantly trying to hold the body of the unit out of the way. One of the product photos of the compressor shows a lady using one to inflate a car tyre, but doesn't (I feel) illustrate clearly enough just how short that hose is.Secondly, the pressure meter on my particular unit was either faulty or was of very poor quality. I tested on tyre that was inflated to 40 PSI and pre-checked with certified, calibrated air pressure gauge. When the hose from the Roypow 180 was first connected, I got a reading that was 6 PSI too low, but as soon as I began to pump air into the tyre, the gauge went up to nearly 45 PSI and stayed there. This level of (in)accuracy may be acceptable for a car driver inflating one tyre in an emergency, but is definitely not suitable or safe for a motorcyclist to rely on when making daily checks of tyre pressures far from home!So, I have only awarded two stars in this instance. Don't let it put you off though, if you only want a compact pump to carry in the boot of the car for an emergency - a fully-functioning one of these (unlike my example) would probably be as good a choice as any, for the money.

Neat little pump. Ideal for keeping in small classic sports car. Only tested so far but seems to be robust and efficient.

Small and compact. However very fiddly to fix to valves of motorcycle, and it's always 4-5psi less than the gauge indicates. As I checked 3 times with two other gauges which I have, and know to be correct. I always check with an additional gauge with any pump. As these types of pumps are renowned for being Inaccurate and should always be checked with an additional gauge. So it's what I expected. (I was asked 4-5 times in emails to leave feedback, so I did. Since then I have received another 4-5 emails asking me to remove the negative feedback, as they put it. But it is my honest and truthful opinion of the product. The company has even offered that I keep the product and they will give me a full refund! (THIS CAN' T BE RIGHT, SURLY)!? How can they be allowed to bribe customers in this way?

It is working fine, used it few times, but its slow and noisy. and the connection to the wheel is not the best.

Have used this several times now. It is well designed, compact and reasonably powerful. It is slower than another pump I have, hence the 4 star rating, but I like the screw fixing to the valve - my other pump has a clip fitting which can blow off during inflation sometimes. You do lose a very small amount of pressure when unscrewing it, but this is minor. Delivered promptly and good value.

El funcionamiento es sencillo y cómodo. Un poco lento pero el cable q lleva llega perfectamente a las ruedas. Y la calidad/precio está muy bien. Por poner un pero es que las instrucciones vienen en inglés.

La prima cosa che si può notare di questo articolo sono le dimensioni molto compatte, è costruito interamente in plastica all'esterno e sulla parte anteriore un manometro assicura una semplice lettura della pressione.Nella confezione sono compresi diversi connettori per vari tipi valvole tra cui ruote di automobili, bicicletta e palloni.Dopo aver effettuato qualche prova posso dire che nonostante le dimensioni è molto rapido nel gonfiare e comodo da usare. Si connette alla presa accendi sigari dell'auto e si accende tramite l'apposito pulsante.Forse le uniche due note negative, se così si vogliono definire, sono il tubo dell'aria lungo a malapena 10 cm che però non reca troppi problemi grazie al cavo di alimentazione lungo circa 3 metri che permette agevolmente ogni parte dell'auto e il fissaggio a vite anzi chè a clip del raccordo dell'aria.Sul corpo è presente anche un piccolo led senza lente che permette di illuminare discretamente ciò che si ha intorno.Il tutto pur essendo molto piccolo raggiunge una pressione di 80 psi.Tutto ciò rende questo piccolo compressore una necessità da tenere sempre in auto per qualsiasi necessità.

Der Kompressor wurde hauptsächlich bestellt, um unsere Bälle und im sommer dann unseren Pool und die Schwimmtiere aufzupumpen.Er bleibt aber natürlich im Auto, da man den Reifendruck kontrollieren und die Reifen mit Luft befüllen kann.Das Gerät ist recht kompakt und fühlt sich trotz des Plastik, nicht ganz so billig an.Der kfz Stecker ist mit seinen ca. 2,60m ausreichend lang, so dass man an alle Reifen ran kommt.Eine Anzeige gibt den bereits enthaltenen Reifendruck an.Es liegt eine Nadel für Bälle, ein Ventilaufsatz, als auch eine Düse für die Ventile von Pools etc. Bei.Die Anleitung ist leider nur auf Englisch.Im Betrieb ist der Kompressor schon hörbar und vibriert etwas.Auch wird der Kompressor nach einiger Zeit etwas warm.In der Beschreibung wird darauf hingewiesen, dass man nach ca. 20min Dauereinsatz 30min Pause machen sollte.Bisher wurde ein Autoreifen nachgefüllt und einige Bälle aufgepumpt.Seine Aufgaben hat er alle gut erfüllt.Im Sommer folgen dann der Pool und die Schwimmtiere.Bisher funktioniert er einwandfrei und es folgt bei Interesse im Sommer ein Update
