Works well. I bought a double receiver hitch. Trailer is hooked to the bottom and I mount the winch on the top.

The holes lined up with my winch.
I am using the winch attached to my SUV. I use it as an anchor point for the winch. I also use it with the double pitch adapter to pull things into my trailer. Using my ramps and the winch makes loading easy.
