Seems very strong, yet well engineered and light weight/compact. I love it.
As little as possible and as much as necessary. Thick metal where it counts, well engineered with rolled edges to keep it strong and from flexing, but as little weight as possible. I had a 13K steel cable winch that was HEAVY on the larger mount I had - it was nearly a 2 person lift. I wanted something my wife or kids could grab so a 13K winch with synthetic cable and this mount and it is MUCH nicer to move from trailer to vehicles. Probably overall 30lb less weight for same pulling power - that reduction in weight is very noticeable and appreciated.

Almost really good.
I would have hoped that the mount would have been “fully” welded. Charge a few dollars more finish the job. Second issue is the front section of the mount protrudes into the fairlead opening. The mounting holes need to be 3/4” higher. Other than these two issues, quality looks to be good.
