Work great with Shimano Deore
Have used these for a lot of biking in steep, rooty, rocky terrain. I have used the semi metallic version. Quiet and work well, the only noticeable difference from original Shimano pads is the price. Probably better with metallic if you do a lot of long, very steep techie stuff where you are braking constantly, but I had no issues with brake fade so will keep using these

Good price, good product.
Took to the Alps as emergency back up, worked a treat. Slight fade when brakes got really hot but in general worked very well.

Can't say I've noticed any difference between these and official Shimano pads and I use them for XC and downhill mountain biking.
