Italian Tomato Press

It works perfectly! (Of course, it helps that my wife is from Italy, and knows what she's doing.) The clamp works fine, and keeps the press steadily fixed to the kitchen counter. Making tomato sauce can be a little messy, so don't expect your work area to be spotless like in the promotional pictures. We appreciate the all-metal construction. The rotating wheel and pressure flanges are robust and easy to disassemble for cleaning. This is superior to plastic presses of the same style. This works much better than augur style tomato presses, too. Highly recommended.

It does not fit on my counter to clamp down, therefore I had to hold it while I turned the handle. I received many bruises from this. Other wise it is a good product. A little hard to clean the grinder. I had to clean it with a toothpick to get out all the pieces.

I ordered this tomato press in good faith that it would work as the advertisement indicated. I used the product one time, severely bruising my forearms trying to hold the item stable and apply enough force to get the press to process the few, cut up tomatoes I had put in the hopper. I contacted Amazon who referred me to the vendor (Kasbahouse.com), to return the product but the company offered to give me a call to discuss how to use the press. Over 30 days later, and still NO CALL. I re-contacted Amazon/Kasbahouse.com to return the item and was promptly informed that if there was not a manufacture's defect I would not get a refund. How am I to know if this is due to a manufacturer's error? If it is not a manufacturer's error, no refund. Guess they really do not stand behind their products. Poor, poor, poor customer service.

Did not come packaged properly at all, a few dents but it did work to an extent. I could not be bothered sending it back, but it was not worth the price. It looked used.

Great product, a real time saver for anyone making sauce. Seller shipped it quickly very well built all around a great purchase.

Takes two people to work this thing...I would not recommend

This was awful mad a lot of noise didn't separate the tomatoes well and it was very hard to clean. The worst part was that the tomatoes rusted it.

I have had mine for 30 years and recently started making my own sauce and canning it again after many years. This tomato press is the absolute BEST for getting the most from the tomatoes. I have tried the cone with the wooden pestle and it cannot compare. The tomato press may be a little more involved both in using and cleaning, but the results are worth it. I have also used it for applesauce, and it works great. Definitely a worthwhile investment!
