Great product
Great product however couldn’t understand how it worked initially. The instructions aren’t great so we ended up watching a video to show the setup. Really good value for money, looks great and our little girl loves it. The straps are removable which we love ad we tend to put this on in the buggy making it easier to use when she wants out to walk.

5 star? More like 10 star!
Can not recommend this enough! It so easy to use and it's such good quality! Once fitted, which is another really easy thing to do, it just slips on so easily! The easiest pair of reigns I've come across! Our toddler just puts his arms in without any fight. The colours and characters I find are really child friendly but also another safety aspect because your little one stands out. Our little one is autistic and it's been such a god send, the sizing just is adjustable as he grows, he's 3 now and still get such good use out of it. Can not recommend enough, would give 10 stars if we could!!

Good quality
Got this for my 1 1/2 year old after months of searching for a good one. so easy to adjust, doesn’t bother him at all when he’s wearing it, it’s definitely fussy free! Definitely worth a buy for anyone struggling to find a decent one.

Great product but needs a few tweaks to be perfect!!
Pros I really like the range of animal characters and colours to choose from instead of having just male or female stereotypical blue and pink. They are cute and I'm sure when my daughter is old enough to understand (she's currently 10 months) she'll enjoy the red fox I chose. The harness feels really well made and durable and I hope may even last for if we have another child. My daughter appears comfortable even when she's had a stumble and is dangling for a few moments until she gets back on her feet. The harness is easy to put on and take off and seems simple to adjust when she gets bigger. Cons My daughter is just starting out walking so I hoped the rein would fit onto the harness in such a way that she didn't look uncomfortable if she had a stumble, I know I previously said it doesn't seem to bother her but it may bother other babies, and I know there are other harnesses out there which look better designed for training and I reckon Trunki could maybe make slight adjustments maybe for this. Finally, unless I am missing something, you can't adjust the rein from a short training rein to a longer one which is just used to prevent a confident walker from running off and I think this a little odd. when the harness has been pretty well thought through. There's just a black elastic strap to tie around the rein to shorten it, which soon comes loose. If the above issue had not been the case I would have given the item 5 starts.

A Parent’s Peace of Mind with Trunki ToddlePak
From the moment I unpacked the Trunki ToddlePak, I knew it was going to be a hit with both me and my little explorer. The bright colors and fun design immediately caught my toddler’s attention, making it less of a battle to get them to wear it. The adjustable straps are a godsend, fitting snugly yet comfortably around my child’s torso, giving them the freedom to walk and explore without any discomfort. The reins are just the right length to allow independence but still keep them close, especially in crowded places. What I appreciate most is the dual functionality. It serves as a walking rein when we’re out and about, and back at home, it doubles as a safety harness for those moments when you need an extra set of hands to keep your toddler safe. The fuss-free aspect is not an exaggeration. It’s straightforward to put on and take off, which is essential when you’re dealing with an impatient toddler. Plus, it’s easy to clean, a must-have for any toddler gear. In terms of improvements, a small pocket for a toy or snack would make this already excellent product even better.

A new approach to reins
The ToddlePak is made from thick canvas which forms a bib like harness for your child. This is fully breathable so you won't have to worry about your child getting too warm while wearing it. You place their arms and head into it and then tighten it up at the rear. I must confess that I was a bit confused as to how I was going to make the ToddlePak fasten on my child's back when I first opened it but, with an 'aaaaah' it all became clear and I found myself grinning at the very clever design. I was expecting buckles and slides to adjust the fit but, instead, it works with simple velcro. At the rear of the ToddlePak you lift up the canvas to find two velcro straps on the waist, one on each side, which can be lifted and moved to ensure a comfortable fit. You can also adjust at the back to make sure the straps sit properly. This makes it so simple to do and means that you can adjust the fit dependent on what your child is wearing quite easily. It's super clever and a typical design feature of those clever people at Trunki. I find it easiest to pop the ToddlePak on my child and adjust it rather than trying to do it in advance. The ToddlePak fastens with a really secure plastic mechanism. Here is the only issue with the ToddlePak, in that the release buttons for the back buckle are exactly where you automatically place your hands to fasten it. That's only a small problem though and you quickly learn to hold it in a different way to close the buckle. The included rein can be used in two ways - as a training rein for early walkers which is shorter and allows the adult to help with balance if needed, and then as a leading rein for more able walkers. This sees two leads join in to one and the adult hold it by a convenient handle. We haven't tried the training rein on our child as she walks well but I think it would be very effective for younger children who need a little extra help from their adult. I think that the Trunki ToddlePak is an excellent design and one that has changed my opinion on toddler reins. Highly recommended.

Practice with the clasp BEFORE putting these on your baby!
We bought these reins for the baby in our family who is just learning to walk (and all the adults were getting backache from bending over to hold her hands). We liked the look of the harnesses in bright colours and fun animal faces and we chose the pink bear. At first we were going to send the reins back because 2 adults struggled for about an hour to open the clasp (fortunately when the reins were NOT being worn by our baby). However we persevered and finally worked out the technique. Rather than pressing the button down you need to put more sideways pressure on the clasp button and if you have strong nails can use your fingernail in the groove to help loosen the clasp. After a few times of using them we can now open the clasp easily and it has loosened a bit - although still feels very secure from a safety point of view. But best of all our baby LOVES them. She will pick them up and lift her arms to put them on as she enjoys wearing them and the extra freedom it gives her as she goes exploring around the house - two hands free to pick up and carry things. So pleased we did not give up too soon as these are making our life much easier.

Disappointed
Was the best rated on Amazon so thought I would pay the extra bit. It’s thick and can tell it’s good quality. You can adjust the sizing of the strap and of the harness which is great However the clip to attach is ridiculously difficult. Even following the instructions on the packet we still struggled. We really struggle to use it for this reason and gathers dust now. It is a solid piece but the clasp really does ruin the product
