This book was brilliant. The characters were fantastic and I loved the story.Jett Powers was brilliant. He had a great character development. He held absolutely zero guilt or care about the fact he took Raven. The fact he really didn’t love her mum and that it was going to be a marriage of convenience made it ok for me. He didn’t believe in love and he just wanted to sate a desire and urge.Raven was fantastic. She was strong willed, realistic and down to earth. She was instantly attracted to Jett. When he made a move, she was powerless to fight it and say no. She hated her mum and the forbidden aspect only made it more appealing.My god, the chemistry between them was explosive and the scenes were smoking hot. They were meant for each other. I loved the plot with Jett coming to terms with his feelings and realising that it was more than a simple urge. He fought it and messed up which hurt Raven. I loved the fact that Raven made him grovel. He needed to accept his feelings and it took losing her see it.I loved the happy ending. Jett and Raven belonged together and it was brilliant to see them building a life together.Overall, I absolutely loved this book. A really hot read.Didn’t like Jett at the beginning but knowing the story was going to be quite predictable warmed to him eventually.The sex scenes were hot,have come to expect it from Cassandra.Overall a good read but I’ve taken a star off because I really don’t like this daddy talk.

I enjoyed reading this story. The characters were okay, I wasn’t a great fan of Raven, not sure why. The storyline was okay. There were parts of this story that were good, some very hot sexy scenes. But also parts that I didn’t like. Not for everyone’s tastes but I enjoyed it.

If you're after your next smutty read and don't have OW/Daddy triggers then this book is for you!Ok, so I guess this is a taboo book where Jett Powers is Raven's future stepdad as he's engaged to Rachel, Raven's mum.As soon as the book starts, you know that Jett and Rebecca don't have a conventional relationship and that they're pretty much only with each other for society and as Jett says, it's what's expected of him at his age.Rachel is just a horrible self-absorbed person, she doesn't care about Raven or much except for herself to be honest and even forgets that Raven was due to stay with her and Jett. What she did with Raven's ex is just baaaddd!Jett pretty much is obsessed with Raven as soon as his eyes lands on hers and there's mutual attraction and chemistry between the two of them.The first scene of Jett and Raven together was explosive and totally not what I was expecting but gosh it was 💥🔥🔥🔥.Jett is not apologetic about it and it actually fuels him to continue with Raven whilst Rachel is away, although even with her coming back later on, it doesn't really stop him.I really enjoyed this book. I was in a bit of a book slump, having started a couple of books and just couldn't get into them, this sucked me in straightaway and I couldn't put it down.Yes it is a smutty book, with explicit details of the scenes so if you're not into this type of book then this might not be for you, but for me, this was a dream and I never wanted it to end.P.S. I loved Maria and Iain and pretty much all the side characters, even though some only made a small cameo.

So pleased I’ve finally managed to read/listen to Jetts story, I always knew he would be a naughty boy but I do love him all the same.If you like seeing how a male character shows his true colours for the woman he loves then this book is definitely one for you.

I loved this book! Jett Powers is one sexy man but with ATTITUDE!! I first came across Jett in ‘Force’ & thought he sounded an interesting character. I wasn’t disappointed!! It was fantastic seeing such an arrogant man completely bowled over by a young, sweet, innocent Raven & fight against his growing attraction. I was equally enthralled to see Raven lose her innocence & grow up to become a young, strong woman. There were plenty of hot scenes throughout the book which were fun. I would definitely recommend this book which can be read as a stand alone book. 5+++++ stars in my view.

If this is your genre, then get stuck in. Not only is it taboo, and filthy, and ooooohhhhh so good, but it has a brilliant story and more importantly a brilliant, realistic female main character. You get the plot but the story had me, to the point I read it all in one go. Brilliantly written. Like I said, bloody good fmc. 👍

I don't know what to say. Great reviews, I love The Disciples and yet ...This book just didn't do it for me. Maybe the insta-love trope just got very old very quickly?

The perfect HEA romance with spicy heat but no dark undertones. Age-gap is the taboo and it works perfectly in this story. Read in an afternoon and recommend reading in a private location as the heat is spicy!

"Her pussy tastes like mangoes" and "I don't care she's in pain". Not much to be said after this.The author really should take some time to rewrite this. It's hardly a book as it is, the narrative doesn't go anywhere, poor structure and all the characters have the same personality.

First book i read from this author and I’m impressed! I love reading alpha bad men and innocent, loyal and strong women who has brains and tenacity to hold on to their men. This one did. It also has full of passion which is a huge turn on. I would read more from this author!

I randomly stumbled upon this book. It was must read so brilliantly written by the author. I usually don't like books that involves cheating but the author persuaded me somehow. Thank you
