Im just so impressed with this little spray gun ....it performs better than alot of high end spray guns. and its priced cant be beat.when i first saw the spray gun i was not impressed.but let me tell you .i wont judge tools by the way they look anymore.this little detail gun performs so well.i had too wright a review. it looks like a pinto but has a corvett engin under the hood.detail gun sprays the paint with a high degree of atomization anything i used this on looked so good .i am very impressed at the performance .i hope this will last me at least for a while ..for detailing i would recommend this .you will be impressed....

I airbrush art on flat surfaces and paint 3D prints and resin castings as a hobby. Applying a base coat to a large panel or canvas, or a large 3D print or resin casting, takes a long time with an airbrush that has 0.3 mm needle/nozzle. I bought a spray gun here on Amazon with a 1.0 mm needle/nozzle and while I love it and works great, my little 2 gallon, 1.8 CFM compressor can't keep it properly pressurized. When I saw this spray gun, I thought it might work better with my little compressor will still taking less time to base coat my larger substrates. I never even connected a hose to this spray gun. Taking it out of it's box and pulling off the plastic wrapping, I immediately saw thick, black sticky blobs stuck to the inside of this spray gun's paint cup. The blobs were small, about 3/32" in diameter. But they were really thick and sticky. I noticed the needle screw was backed out almost all the way. So, I began to tighten it in, and noticed it felt funny. So, I decided to disassemble this spray gun and see what was wrong. I couldn't disassemble it. Every single threaded component in this gun could not be removed. I don't know if the starting threads are stripped and keeping the components stuck in the spray gun, or if the gun is built that way. Either way, you should be able to disassemble a spray gun to clean it and adjust it. I boxed this gun up and sent it back. I'm happy to say that out of the innumerable items I've bought here on Amazon, very few of them have been genuinely bad. Most of my returns are faulty/damaged items, and I just request a replacement. I did NOT request a replacement for this poor quality spray gun, and as I state in the review title, this spray gun is so low quality I can't believe Amazon permits it's listing here. Just don't buy this gun. If you need a way to spray a decent amount of paint but don't want a full size spray gun, I recommend an airbrush that has a 0.8 mm needle/nozzle set up. There are a few of them here on Amazon, and the Timbertech unit I bought after returning this spray gun works really well.

I bought this to bridge the gap between an airbrush and a full-width-pattern spray gun. It was just what I needed, and I can recommend it.
