Bought a Dyson off of market place had a bad battery got everything on Amazon and was up and working in days.

The only hassle was removing the old dust seal ring. A good video showing how to do this would be appreciated! In my case the ring simply would not budge - the fit was too tight. In the end I gingerly dremmeled the ring to weakening it in two places - so the ring buckled when moderate force was applied. This approach mitigated the risk of accidental damage to the Dyson dust container. With hindsight it is possible that my Dyson had a particularly tight fit on the ring, so you may have an easier time removing the old seal! The kit itself is a precision replacement that is indistinguishable from the original. I thoroughly recommend this product and I have bought two for myself (as this is a design weakness rather than a manufacturing fault). The screwdriver needed to remove the hex head screw securing the ring was a really nice touch.

Good and match the part. Only drawback is a little hard to install.

This parts fits perfectly to my V10.

The one labeled V10 SV12 fits the SV12. It is a bit tighter than the OEM but still not troublesome to install. It did not come with the screw but I still had mine so not a big deal. Wild to me that a screwdriver would be included versus a consumable like a screw, but I couldn't find one that didn't come with a screwdriver on Amazon. The vacuum works after the spare part installation and that's the most important piece of this review.

OEM items needs improvement- It is not a complete fit so occasionally it does not function well.
