Grandstream Enterprise IP Phone GS-GXP2140 (4.3" Color Display, POE, Power Supply Not Included)

Excellent device. Well engineered. Beautifully made. Delivered in record time (thanks Amazon). So why am I returning it tomorrow? Because what the VOIP providers don't tell you -- in my case RingCentral -- is that when you make a decision to buy a better featured, less expensive phone than they are offering, it becomes a second class citizen on their network. YOU have to manually Provision the device manually, and In Manual Provisioning, the Authorization information and SIP settings for the phone are entered manually in the phone's Menu or Web Interface, ONLY to register with the RingCentral servers. Manual Provisioning, for example, will not maintain communication for updates to the phone, only the registration with the service.It will not allow the phone updates from RingCentral's servers. It will not pull the firmware required for RingCentral's features. Users with manually provisioned phones will not be able to use Presence. And phones manually provisioned will not have softkeys for Paging and Intercom, which is a function I need for our remote gate opener, watched over by our compatible Grandstream CCTV camera. This is a crying shame as the phone is really great and just what I needed. Now I have to buy a phone that I don't want, pay more money than I need to, and wait for it to be delivered. So beware, don't do what I did, and check out the models your VOIP provided will auto-provision before buying. Hopefully for you, in your case it will include a Grandview GXP2140.LATER: When I was packing up the box to send back to Amazon, I found a card from Yay.com -- who support Grandstream fully -- and started I asked myself "why am I doing this?" Why was I going to return a super phone with all the functions and features I needed, at a super price, in order to accept a poor substitute and pay almost double? So I decided I wouldn't. I am going to take my new Grandstream GXP 2140 to Yay for a free trial, and hopefully live happily ever after. :-)

Fantastic product to use, seller was extremely helpful with an invoice issue i had. The only thing that i wish the manufacturer would include is a UK plug but that is an issue with the manufacturer not the seller!

I have been using an older GXP2020 for many years and it finally gave up the ghost. This new one was comparatively less expensive than some of the others and does the job very well. Clear calls and works with my Plantronics wireless headset.

Very bad experience, software keep freezing on and off. Very unreliable and useless after one year of use. It is now more frequent than before and very unhappy with this product. I expected quality from a reputed brand. Can not justify the price paid. :-(

Excellent phone for home office VOIP setup with bluetooth headset. So good I've bought two.

It’s not as easy as suppose to be to install and the screen not working . Also the quality of the sound / voice of the phone it’s very bad

The phone is great. It replaced a much older Grandstream VoIP phone. The only issue was that the AC adapter supplied was a US one and there wasn't a converter included. A lengthy online chat with Amazon got a converter sent out by courier for next-day delivery, FOC. They implied this was a one-off mistake. Otherwise, the phone is excellent. If the AC adaper had been a UK one then I'd have definitely given 5 stars.
